I am in love with an older woman who I had FWB relations with, we have broken up now but I miss her so much. I doubt she feels the same way though as she has other FWB she has sex with.

You should never let yourself fall for someone in an FWB relationship because it is just that...FRIENDS! Sounds like you were expecting too much from this and need to get as far away from this lady as possible!

Where there's sex, there's most likely strong emotions. Some people can handle the FWB thing without getting emotionally involved, but I think most people can't. Sex is an intimate act and triggers those type of emotions, so if you're prone to strong emotional connections with people then a FWB relationship isn't the relationship for you. Maybe she does feel the same way and just acts aloof because she thinks you were in it just for the sex. You should tell her that you miss her... But don't start a sexual relationship again unless she wants to date you and only you. You'll only wind up getting hurt.

You're not supposed to fall in love in an FWB relationship. No, she probably doesn't feel the same way about you. Why don't you consider finding someone for a serious relationship where love is wanted.

Friends With Benefits sounds good in theory, but the best sex is when those involved have feelings for each other, so it defeats the purpose of FWB.

Whenever the priority of friendship shifts from love to other mundane benefits, the end result is always chaotic. People go about with different unrealistic ideologies such as friends with benefits (FWB), Pity *****, and so forth. But all these don't last long, besides the fact that they often lead to frustration and despondency. I strongly advise you to build your next relationship or friendship on LOVE. It makes the difference. Contact me through my profile now for further discussions. cya.

these relationships are the single most ridiculous fad to ever have happened...just call them what they really are having sex with no strings attached...no emotional bonds at all. its like being a hooker/gigolo without getting paid. if someone can't get emotionally involved and just wants to have indiscriminate sex with whoever whenever then they are not only immature and selfish but stupid. i keep hearing how they are so 'freeing' and 'no one gets hurt because there are no strings attached', yeah right. the sex act is just that and satisfies a need, but when done with someone you are into its much more satisfying and fun. the thing is you went into this relationship thinking it would just be about the act and found out you couldn't do it without some emotional bond, congratulate yourself for being a caring human being. but that being said you got exactly what you wanted and now you're upset....every choice you make has consequences along with what you thought would be a blessing...you're just going to have to live with the notion that she is still being immature and selfish and she wants nothing more from you than sex and now she doesn't even want that. move on and learn from this.
