First, forget everything in the universe about television personality Cesar Milan.
To be the leader, make sure that everything valuable in your dog's world comes from you. There's a link below that goes into more detail. This is a foundation that goes along with any other training you do.
Dogs don't become automatically trained and well-behaved by being "submissive", which is the nonsense of dominance theory and Cesar Milan. It's important to be a leader for your dog, but dogs also need you to show them what you expect. Barking is normal dog behavior. Chewing is normal dog behavior. Keeping objects in their mouth is normal dog behavior, and in dog language, they are justified in biting you if you try to wrestle it away from them. In human language, it would be inexcusable for your dog to bite you for such a thing. Oops, we have a language barrier there, eh?
Below is a link that explains how to teach your dog to give you the item in his mouth without wrestling it away from him (how undignified for both of you!). You can find lots more like it by Googling "resource guarding".
Also, it's always useful to find a nice basic obedience class -- you get to have instructors teach you by example how to work with your dog, and it's a great way to bond.

As Alpha Dog, you must provide for the pack. You are responsible for the other dog's manners, safety, food, grooming, medical care, fresh clean water, etc...
So your pet must look to you for instructions. First, you do not establish yourself as Alpha, you earn it! Second, you do not bully your way through beatings or yelling, into the Alpha position.
Always be the one to feed your dog his dinner. Never allow him to bark wildly or herd you or leap on you for dinner. If he acts up, leave the kibbles and bowl on the counter (out of reach) and walk away, ignoring your dog. Come back in 5 minutes, give the SIT command and then proceed with getting his dinner. If he acts up again or breaks the SIT position, walk away. This was he learn to get dinner from you on your terms.
For letting go of something in his mouth, it must not be perceived by him as a game. Games are fun and when you play with him you use your "squeeky high playful" voice. When you want him to let go, you give a SHARP low-voiced "Drop It" command. The sound of your voice dictates his reaction. Even if he doesn't understand the words yet, he should release the object and stare at you in surprise. Take the object away (you can teach the "Leave It" command later) and praise him in your soft "good doggy" voice.

Such such issues as feeding it after easily everyone else, making the canines wait until eventually you've went with the help of doors first,at the same time as returning decrease back to the canines dont make a fuss, dont enable it on mattress/settee, A canines growning up wondering it really is alpha canines in a human significant different and little ones will be a muddled up canines so purely deal with it as a "canines" and also you'd be effective:)

One that worked for me
When feeding have some human biscuits to hand, then just before you give him his food make sure he sees you eating as though its coming from his bowl.
Also no sleeping on the bed or sitting on your lap if you can manage it.
You are the only person to feed him.

you have to earn the alpha position, this can be one by you beeing the only one to feed, water, take your dog out for potty. Don't allow your dog to sleep on your bed - this way he doesn't think he is on the same level as your or higher ranking then you
