Depends on where the dog is digging. If it's along the fence, he wants out, sometimes bury wire 2 feet down and 3 feet into your yard will deter him. Or heavy cinder bricks along the fence. If it's along the side of your house, it could be separation anxiety, and that he wants in. Teaching him it's ok and fun to be outside would be a good answer. Give him lots of outdoor toys and things to chew on. If It's in the yard, usually means he's bored. Playing with him more, socializing him, maybe even agility classes. Sometimes they just like to dig, maybe give him his own little spot that's ok for him to dig in. Hide treats under the ground for him to dig up, like bones and chew toys.

do you leave them outside in a fence? if so then try digging all around the fence and purchasing enough brick to go around the bottom of the fence or where ever they are digging and bury some bricks in the soil once they hit the bricks with their toenails they will stop cause this hurts. good luck and god bless and happy holidays.

what do you call a kennel? a kennel is a penned section, in many situations outdoors with seem after. it isn't a crate. once you've a kennel on your backyard, can or not this is moved to all or any of the spots the canines enjoys? have you ever tried to allow the canines to dig in a unmarried section? this variety of canines desires to dig more advantageous than many different breeds and also you ought to do nicely to inspire it to dig in a unmarried section absolutely or to kennel it in a community it rather is enormous adequate and accessible to a digging spot. the canines easily would not favor to interrupt your backyard; that's plausible to coach it to comprehend perfect and unacceptable digging parts, in simple terms because this is plausible to coach it to apply one section absolutely to get rid of waste. preserving it locked up lots of the time in a kennel is only a mirrored image of your frustration. that's honest to be annoyed, yet you're the draw close the following, in case you do not comprehend a thanks to coach the canines, get some sturdy books, take some obedience classes, and so on. do what it takes to how you may seek for suggestion out of your pal in a fashion he will understand; he rather in simple terms needs to delight you,you comprehend. please end leaving him kennelled except at the same time as rather mandatory (because you may't supervise him) this is going to take some attempt and rather time, yet interior a month you'll have a tremendous and chuffed canines.

Why did you teach them to run a backhoe. Remove the equipment and lock all shovels up so they can't get to them. Also make sure your posthole diggers are under lock and key. Remember a dog without a hole is a constipated dog.

Well, you can put them in a concrete kennel or you can give them some amnesia something that will make them forget their instincts.
More practically, you can probably just put pallets down in their kennel that will both give them something to walk on and alleviate the problem.
Happy Digging.

SHOOT HIM!!!
(I'm sorry...I just couldn't resist)
Seriously though...Invest in a shock collar and everytime you see him start to dig give him a zap...Dogs are smart and it won't take him very long to realize that digging holes is wrong..
