The protection given to women along with the right to basically be a part of society just as much as a man can. The fact that Islam says a woman's birth is a blessing where the Bible says it's a "total loss". The fact that everyone will be dealt with individually and we don't shoulder the sin of what one woman did. The fact that it just makes sense. It's degrading to demand a woman go out and work, but if she chooses to she has that right and can do with her money as she so chooses. Heaven is under the mother's feet and children are to obey her over their father. That out of respect, children are to have all respect for their mother and their father is second. That the family is extremely important, and if things don't work out, the father is supposed to care for his family even after they are divorced.
It's too bad that a lot of the so called "muslim men" of today can't follow anything islamic and choose culture over the words of God. The Prophet (PBUH) cared so much for the well being of women. He served himself, helped with the housework, and didn't really bother his wives. Today, the men think a woman staying home is just sitting around, care little for her health, expect dinner to be perfect and if it's not, will scream at her or even beat her. Even in terms of food, the Prophet (PBUH) never insulted his wives or made bad comments about them. If he didn't like the food, he simply left it alone. That's a lot better than screaming at her for only being human.
I love Islam. It's the best way to live and the best way to die. It has a place for everyone. Everyone is given justice.

I saw how truly peaceful islam was through various massacres in the koran and in the real world (non-make believe). Like when he murdered all those peaceful jews at Khaybar, or massacring schools filled with children like Beslan or Maalot.

Its uniqueness as religion, the complete way of life. Its proper to appreciate how it defined the oneness of God, that discourages the practices of trinity ( three identity in one God)?. Its prohibition to use any kind of images of God that only insult HIM and demeaning HIM like creature too. Putting three identities into one God will create vague and unbelievable logic that only low logic people will convince to believe. Its separation of men and women during congregation (time to worship) inside its mosque (church), that guarrantees harmony of mind free from distraction sexually from opposite gender when praying.
That maintain its Kor'an ( Bible) free from revision, in other word, free from errors that safeguard the authenticity of its origin, and all its verses applicable to society without need to revise to accomodate new generation to generation. That is why called as unversal religion.
It defined all aspect of life, not limited to family, education, community, social, economic, government-politics and any kind of social injustices.

My ex partner wanted me to convert to Islam and i refused because i believe there is only one God which is God the Father. If they do not believe in God the Father, they believe not in God. Its a cult and cults are not worth embracing.

i did a lot of research but two things happened that made me decide to convert.
i was standing in a hall and someone complimented my beauty and at the same time a hijabi walked by and i felt jealous of her. i felt then that i was a Muslim in my heart. when i went home and read surah 55 it cemented everything that i already knew
Here's the beginning of it:
55:0 In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
55:1 (God) Most Gracious!
55:2 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.
55:3 He has created man:
55:4 He has taught him speech (and intelligence).
55:5 The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed;
55:6 And the herbs and the trees - both (alike) bow in adoration.
55:7 And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice),
55:8 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance.
55:9 So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.
peace and blessings to all,
Sakina

"Embraced" is the correct spelling. If i have to do that, probably it is because of ignorance, lack of common sense. Why believe in a messenger of God who died and will be no more? I'd rather stick to Jesus Christ who died but was raised again to judge all mankind.
