... I manage about 6 mouthfuls and then I don't want anymore. I'm 21 years old and have always had a good appetite. I'm not anorexic or bulimic and I have no issues about my body weight. There is quite a lot of stress in my life right now. Could that be relevant?

Yep that happens to me like twice a year always for three weeks or so... I dont know why it is, but I wouldnt worry too much about it, itll go back to normal. Force yourself to eat when you drink alcohol and similar, though. And eat enough to not faint during the day, because it is a danger if you dont eat enough, because you body will crave for energy.
But Im sure its nothing serious. Good luck!

I had this same problem and it turned out it was my stomach that had too much acid in it. Maybe you ought to go to your doctor and get his opinion.
I could be very hungry and after a very small amount felt absolutely full. I went for tests through my gp and found out what was the cause of my problem.
Stress could also be the main problem and maybe you ought to look at ways to de-stress yourself ie meditation

To be honest, stress always affects your appetite one way or another. Also, what i find, is that i feel hungry when i'm bored so when i go to eat something i realise that i'm not actually hungry.

Make sure you take plenty of liquids, especially water. Sometimes we mistake what we think are hunger signals but they are really saying that we are becoming dehydrated.

stress definitely impacts appetite...sometimes makes you crave things, sometimes makes it too hard to eat.
