I started a while ago and make great salmon and avo rolls. Do you have any tips for getting great results (anyone know how to work with the rice without it sticking everywhere?) - or do you have any fave recipes to share?

Practise makes great results. I use a plastic spatula ( dipped in cold water before appling to rice) to spread the rice on the Nori instead of using my fingers. Wash your hands before you start , the rice won't stick to your fingers that bad when your hands are moist.

I make sushi hand cones all the time.
cook your rice with a bit of rice vinegar and a bit of sugar
get you Norri sheets, moist your hands, place some rice on each sheet
add some salmon ch oped up ( ask the butcher for sushi salmon) I buy mine at an oriental store
add a couple of pieces of cucumber cut Julian style
add some avocado
Mix a bit of wasabi sauce(very hot) with a bit of soy sauce
pour a bit over your sushi mix, roll like a cone, if you like spicy food dip in more wasabi& soy sauce mix, you can ommit this if youre not into spicy foods. Yummo!

Sushi is good if it's cooked right.
