What reason would you give for getting into heaven.

I would look to Jesus and say it is through him and because of Jesus I can enter in. Not anything I have done, but what Jesus did.

I would reply . . . " I know what authentic Love is ". And God would know I was speaking the truth because he can 'read' all souls / hearts / minds.
And your next question of "what reason would I give for getting into heaven?"
I don't feel I would need to supply a reason. God hearing my answer to the first question...I'd simply be 'let in'.
But just for interests sake I'd reply " My reason is to glorify To become more a part of your Kingdom thus adding my Love to the Energy of the Greater so as to expand out and touch others more through your Glory.".
Now...my ideas of ' Heaven " and the 'getting in ' thing is not the mainstream thinking, yet I get your idea of what you were asking and do understand your thought, so I found it of interest to answer here. Smiles to you.

"God, I have tried my hardest to live my life with decency. I have tried to be kind, courteous, loving, caring, a good friend, a good son, and a good person. I have tried to conduct myself in the best way possible. I have made plenty of mistakes, but I have tried my hardest to correct them and not repeat them. However, I will admit to you right now that I have never joined a Christian church, that I have been highly skeptical of Christianity ever since the age of 16, and that I have rejected the divinity of Jesus Christ. When given the offer time and time again that I should accept Christ as my "savior", I consciously and knowingly rejected that offer every single time. I studied hard the Christian religion and looked at it with an open mind, and using my own logic and reason, concluded that it was not for me. If that decision alone makes me ineligible for Heaven, send me to Hell and I will not complain. There is nothing man can do, or SAY to be worthy of enterance into heaven. We enter because of God's love , mercy and compassion for us.

Seeing as how I have accepted the atoning work of Jesus, and he has died for my sins, that is not a question that God would ask me, it would be rather, welcome my good and faithful servant
