There are wonderful churches in Israel and many pentecostal and full gospel churches.
Israel is safe--I was there in 2003 and I was never scared even though it was during the intifada--you know why? I knew we had Gods protecting mantle over us.

The Church of ALL NATIONS in the Old City is awesome.
There is a great fellowship at the YMCA in Jerusalem across the street from the King David Hotel.
Here is one in Haifa (Mt Carmel):

By the way--these churches are made up of messianic Jews, Christians and Arab/Muslim converts--including Palestinians.
A side to Israel that no one talks about much but a huge part of Israel.

As to the second half of your question, yes you can visit any church in Israel just like you can visit any church in the USA.
There are many churches there, almost in every city/village (of course you won't find one in a city that only jews live in). I guess the most famous are the ones in Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Those are easy to find. Ask anyone in Jerusalem and they'll know.
I found this site if you're interested but it's only for the churches in Jerusalem :

As for the first part of your question, although I live in Israel, I can't help you with that. If you are asking for yourself and intend to visit Israel, feel free to contact me via email and I'll help you out :-) If not, I hope I helped a little anyway.

P.S Although many think we are in a state of war, you won't sense that if you know where to go. The war is in specific places and can be avoided.

This is a well known Israel congregation.
I think they have addresses of another pentecostal congregations.

The service in most congregations in Israel is interpreted to several languages, including English, and there are guests from different countries in the meetings.

Yes, there are many churches in Israel. One of my favorites is in Jerusalem, called Christ Church--it is an Anglican church, but it seems rather charasmatic. It is located close to the Jaffa Gate area in the Old City. Their website: http://www.itac-israel.org/

Others have given some great suggestions as well--the YMCA congregation, etc.
