But they can park right outside where they need to be then jump out of the car whistleing. When I have to drive around town for ages looking for a space.

Yeah they get everything don't they ... misfortune, people staring at them, endless trips to the hospital, piles of **** like yourself asking pathetic questions. I hope it happens to you one day.

If you think the disabled badge is being misued, then report it, but before you start shouting too loudly, remember that the car might belong to a disabled person but the driver is NOT disabled and could well be their long suffering carer, and if he's just arrived somewhere to collect the disabled person, there's no reason why they shouldn't be happy - or perhaps the cars just been in for a service and it's being returned. You just don't know unless you take the trouble to find out, so next time you see this alleged occurrence that upsets you so much, talk to the driver.
BTW - I am not disabled myself and I do not have a car, so I speak as a disinterested person, and in your case, VERY disinterested.
PS, having looked at all the answers so far and after me, you haven't exactly come out of this covered in violets have you !! Next time think a bit first.....

OK, I'm gonna try to be calm about this. No, it's not working!! How dare you say this! There are crooks, frauds and lowlife out there who steal, "borrow", misuse friend's or family's disabled parking permits every day. Some people even frauduently get permits all the time. Don't you dare align those of us who are genuinely disabled with those who misuse this privilege!! I got an idea, walk a mile in my shoes for a day, wait, I can't walk a mile. Well, someday you may just get an answer to your question, personally. I hope you never have to find out the hard way, but I also hope you have more compassion and insight as you grow up.

What a short sighted and unfeeling attitude.
Look at the problems that disabled people and their carers have to cope with.I'm sure they would gladly sacrifice the benfits and help they get to be able to work, care and live as others do.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you hadn't thought this question through, whilst i suspect that this question is probably based on the fact that you had trouble getting a parking space in town today.

Just seen your adendum. So i was right! HA HA HA !

You sound like some of the students at our college. God forbid they should have to walk a block from the parking lot to their class!

That person who "jumps" out of his car whistling could have a heart attack and die from the strain of walking through the parking lot.

You should thank the good Lord that you have legs that enable you to move from your parking spot to the mall door.

Yeah, they get a hard life, is that what you want. Most live with constant pain and getting some of the things available to them is only making life a little easier. It really annoys me seeing how inconsiderate people are to others need. Time to wake up and realise that people with no disabilities are the luck ones.

Be careful for what you say....you don't know what could happened to you on the future, life is very unpredictable, may be your wish will come true and you'll end up in a wheel chair and you can park right in front..... sometimes time will make you swallow your words!!!

Like what? Pain? High medical bills? If you think being disabled is such fun why don't you just dive in to the shallow end of the pool? They you can have a shiny new wheelchair.

How do you get the idea that disabled people get everything? A parking tag to let them park near the door isnt "everything" plus most people on disability income cant even afford a car! Let alone insurance & maintenance fees. Disabled people are in pain and suffering every day of their lives. Then they have to put up with people staring at them, asking stupid questions and being downright rude about them. Im sure any of them would trade that for a healthy mind & body to be able to take proper care of themselves. Along with the physical problems many get depression from living such a crappy life. Medical insurance for the disabled is covering less and less of their needs and they have to pay out of pocket for much of what used to be covered. Trying to live a "normal" life is a joke when a person is disabled. There is no going out dancing with friends or much of anything else for socializing as they are not able to do these things. Getting a date is not easy either. They mostly get to sit home and watch tv or stare at the walls. Being physically unable to be active causes other problems in turn-weight gain, stiff body, easier to get respiratory illnesses and such. Its very stressful to be disabled. Especially if it is a person who was used to being able to do all they wanted and then had something cause the disability later in life. My best friend is now disabled-she was very active until she became disabled and it is very hard on her to have to sit around so much, and very depressing. And lets talk about how the disabled pay bills. In my friends state she recieves a mere $603 a month to live on, yes I said $603!! Out of that comes her mortgage, electricty, water, phone, cable, trash pickup, household needs and personal needs. Thats not even counting food. Even the disabled who recieve food stamps get so little they still have to use part of their cash for food. Most of the year she has to pay part of each bill, just enough to keep everything running, as $603 month is not enough to pay all in full. She is usually August or September paying off her winter heat bill. And that is with "help" from the local welfare/charitable programs such as LIHEAP, as it only helps a very little. Do you know how embarrassing it is to have to ask for charity? Probably not.
Now on top of all else, her credit is also ruined from not being able to pay bills in full. So she may never be able to get out of the disability financial rut that most all people on disability are in.
Wow, she lives like a Queen since she "gets everything" huh? I hope you never have to go thru what any diabled person has to go thru and that you learn a little compassion for others before you b*tch about a freaking parking spot!! Be grateful to your Maker that you CAN walk from a parking spot to the mall door!! Some people cant!!
