The Christians at the time of the Black Plague already fostered a long hatred of Jews and Muslims. This was due to ignorance and the thought that those who didn't believe in the Christian God were sinners. This hatred of the Jews and Muslims allowed the Christians to use them as an easy scapegoat.

Yours is a rather simplistic look at the plague in Europe. It was brought about by a number of conditions including a mini ice-age that covered northern europe. The climate shifts caused food shortages and this led to a number of conditions including man coming into greater contact with rats. Poor sanitation and invading barbarians didn't help matters. There has still been no single known cause attributed to the plague, but a number of causes working together. As to why the Christians in Europe killed people, I'm not sure about Muslims, but with the Jews, they were not getting the plague for the most part. Since they were not dying at the rate of the Christians, they were blamed as the cause. The truth about the Jews though, is that their dietary and hygeine laws protected them from the plague. They did not come into contact with dead bodies. They washed their hands. They did not eat the foods that were prone to carry disease. They did not share their dinner utensils with gentiles. They engaged in ritual immersion in water. These things protected them, and that protection caused them to be targeted by the mobs.

Certainly not for the love of Jesus. They fekt that the Jews were wrong not to accept Jesus so they used Jews as a scepegoat just like Czar Nicholas in Russia and Hiler during world war 2.
