Muslims. I lived in Saudi Arabia and they are without doubt the most miserable people in the world. Little wonder they have exported extremism to the rest of the world.

What Talibn do and what Islam says are ywo completely different things. You obviously have no knowledge of Islam. If you did, you would know that in Islam, the highest education one can afford is an obligation for women, while Taliban forbid it. Women also have the right to work and do as they see fit with their earnings, while Taliban forbid it. Get all facts before claiming that one group of nuts represents all of us. I can do the same and make the false claim that the KKK and the Church of the World Creator, both racist organizations believing only whites have the right to live, represent all american christians. But I know better. I know better than to judge an entire group by the actions of a few twisted individuals. I could also say all white men are serial killers, since most serial killers are white men. I could say that white mothers are baby killers for killing their own babies and for getting many abortions, but I know that isn't true. Everyone needs to quit being so narrowminded and letting everyone else think for them. Try thinking on your own and doing your own NON biased research.

Attempting to restrict the freedom of the womenfolk under the guise of religion i.e the veil.
The Taliban stopping girls and women even attending school.
Gross reactions to cartoons, meant to induce humour.
No other religion reacts like this.
One popular religion has has images of their gods put on shoes and pants with hardly a murmur from members of the religion.
Encouraging killing of those who do not share the belief system is the ultimate.
Use bombs instead of the pen and then claim it to be a religion of peace is so common now.

I must agree... Catholic perhaps... because it has become so twisted... spirituality and soul so simplified into a list of rules...
well, I guess religion is what restricts us all... why not make do without it altogether? I mean... why not just flow?
Religion has gotten everyone so frigid and stiff, so jumpy and angry... breeding hatred instead of what it was originally supposed to...
It creates factions between us and deprives us of the ability to connect with anyone just for the sake of being similarly human....
YES! DO AWAY WITH RELIGION!
LET US ALL BE FREE!!!
(no, I'm not on any kind of drug... not even alcohol...)

The Taliban were nuts. Islamic civilisation has produced many great artists, writers, poets and musicians. You might be interested to know that when the Taliban fell and people could listen to music again the afghans were well in to Michael Jackson. There you go!

Good question
I would probably say Buddhism.
I see it as a nutrally emotioned religion. To unattach yourself from the material world and concentrate on realising that you are a selfless ego. Bit far out, I know. It does discourage any sensual unfilling enjoyment in order to attain enlightenment.

Yes, and the Amish do watch TV work day and night .... the list goes on. There is no religion that bans happiness, all major religions are in the pursuit of permanent bliss..... Which religion is least tolerant? Catholicism without a doubt, all scholars agree on this.

it is obviously Islam if you live in an islamic state.
There is really no such thing as a Christian state as you can choose if you want to follow christianity or not.
Islam though does not permit this and if you live in an islamic state you are bound my the muslim law whether you like it or not.
A christian can practise his/her religion as much as they want but it is a muslims duty to tell other muslims if they are not following islam properly.
Basically, compare a life in an Islamic country with that in a 'Christian' country and you have got your answer!!

properly, there are a spread of definitions of paganism depending which era period you're speaking about. In historic Polytheistic Rome, a Pagan became someone who became "on the breaking point of the earth," in various of circumstances a worry-free guy, a farmer, or someone who did not stay contained in the city. those were the stunning human beings to rework to Christianity even as Rome dictated it (seem up Bishop Ambrose for dates in this stuff) so the "pagans" also develop into synonymous with "Polytheists" even as the Roman Empire became falling. (purely after it switched over to Christianity) This time period, Pagan, became saved to describe the Britons previously they were switched over, and later the Poles (contained in the 800s) and the Lithuanians, the stunning "pagan" human beings in Europe. immediately, we call those pagans, Proto-pagans, because it really is a pre-Christian faith. There are Proto-pagan cultures which have survived to this present day, like Hindu and Shinto religions, yet in Europe they were probable wiped out. (I say probable because there is an argument, and we are going to probable by no ability comprehend for sensible if sects like Stregha saved their paganism by the Christian era) in the course of the right of the Christian era, there have been many human beings, fantastically in small villages, Hedge "witches," Apothacaries, "smart" adult men and women (the time period Wizard comes variety this, "smart" one idea) who remembered the former pagan herblore, and magic. (save in ideas, Pagan Rome became millenia prior to Medeival Chrsitian Europe even as it got here to medical knowledge... so using Foxglove for heart complications appeared like Magic to a Medeival ecu)... those "witches" and "wizards" in various of circumstances mixed their classic pagan beliefs with extra modern-day Christian ones, and would immediately be refered to as meso-pagan. Todays Neopagan flow, nevertheless purely referred to as Paganism, takes from the mesopagan ideas that survived, besides as surviving texts of protopagan peoples. Wicca, my personal faith, besides as a mirad of different neopagan communities which includes Druids, Asatru, and Reconstructionalists, all have a mixture of Paleo-pagan, Meso-pagan, and new Pagan ideas to create a faith perfect for the era we are in now, the widespread era. (also known because the "New Age")
