Please do not use Superglue. It doesn't last. Besides that, it will attack the acrylic and make it more difficult to fix the right way.

While it's true that you can buy a denture repair kit in the drugstore or by mail order, there is one thing missing from the kit. Everything is in there except the experience to know how to use it right.

The right way to do it is to make a hydrocal model inside the existing denture, being sure that the parts are in exactly the proper relationship to each other. (Hydrocal is available at a hardware store and is not included in the repair kit.) After the model hardens, remove the denture. Rout out the crack on the denture making an opening of about 3 mm. (Use a Dremel tool to do this.) Replace the denture on the model and mark the repair area lightly in pencil. Remove the denture from the model. Lubricate the model with a separating medium. Vaseline usually works well. Follow the package directions for use of the repair material, even though they will not be able to tell the best way to use the material. They tell you to mix powder and liquid and apply, but this way will leave voids. It's the best you can be expected to do, though. For a lasting repair, place the denture in a pressure pot and apply about 15 psi for the duration of the curing process. After the repair material hardens, grind off the excess with your Dremel tool. Smooth it down with rubber wheel abrasives. Polish to a high shine with a wet cotton rag wheel on a bench lathe using fine flour of pumice.

If you don't own all of the above equipment, just omit the steps that require special equipment. You will never use it for anything but this denture repair and you wouldn't want to let it go to waste. Just accept that your repair will not be as good as you could get it done in a dental office and go for it.

When you are done, you're going to be so unhappy with the final result that you will just end up taking it to a dentist to get it done over again anyhow. Why don't you skip all the aggravation and just do that in the first place?

I would also suggest that the infamous "hairline crack" in the midline of a denture is usually an indication that the denture is rocking from side-to-side as you chew. Your denture needs reline or replacement. Even with a great repair, the crack will reappear if the rocking issue is not addressed.

Denture Repair Kit

If in the UK Denture repairs are free under the NHS if you go to the dentist.
(well not so sure about England with the new contract but definately still free in Scotland.)
But if you go straight to the technician then he can charge you.

It depneds on how broken the denture is and how easy it is to reposition the pieces, but generally you are better going to the dentist first.

I repaired my broken denture with superglue to no avail just kept on coming apart.I took it to the dentist and he sent them to technician this morning.I came home and had a phone call from my Dentists to say they could not fix them as they had superglue on them.Surely a technician would have some source of removing it.I now have no denture and have to wait for 6 weeks to have a new one. How humiliating

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! Learn here https://tr.im/oh3zg

As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!
