why do people take drugs when they can have a good time with out them. they are just recing they life

some people feel they can have more fun when using drugs. i used to do them and it was a lot of fun. but it was a growing up thing. and i know now that i like my life better drug free. some people learn and some people don't.

there are many reasons people take drugs. Peer pressure, they don't' want to seem "not cool". Low self esteem and they want to feel good. And to escape from the real world for a time. Many use after friends introduce and continue because they normally feel unworthy and the drugs make them feel good, at least for a time and then they have to use again to regain that euphoria, unfortunately or fortunately however you look at it the never achieve the high that they got the first time they used and then some move on to more powerful drugs. In essence there is not just one reason but a plethora of reasons.

What the hell are you on about. People take drugs to escape certain aspects of their life that they want to forget maybe for just a day or a night, there is nothing wrong with taking them in my eyes.

Some people have experienced more in life than others,and they cope by escaping reality same as why some people drink to oblivion.Alot of people can not deal with stress and refuse to try so they get high.Some just like the feeling of well being.Weak mined would come to mind.

well usually it's because they're bored...it sounds like a crap answer but it's true. also people have a lot of problems, they see drugs as an escape. A way to make themselves feel better. Then the addiction kicks in and they're a junkie.

To medicate their feelings. It's an unfortunate choice for coping with life when they don't want to invest time or energy to deal with problems. Life difficulties make you strong and can even make you happy because you WILL overcome them and feel powerful! Drugs destroy the ability to do this. I hate to sound arrogant, but the road is always gonna have rocks on it, and we will keep tripping over them, but one day we'll learn to step over them and that day is SWEET!

I don't really know b/c i have done m.j. once and i don't see what ppl get out of them! They ruin your life and fry your brain,some do it b/c they claim it makes them feel good and make thier pains go away.....but to me that`s just a laim excuss!ALL drugs are nasty and a waste of money,and they can hurt you IF NOT kill you.

nahhh man....people take drugs bcs it feels good...outta this world, just amazing....
i was a druggy when i was in uni, i studied hard but i partied hard too...well now, now i only have memories...those were the best days....
Once you r on drugs, you shld know when to stop, if not you r screwed
