You may have another stone in there. Once the infection and swelling has cleared it will be easier for the doctor to tell. It can take a couple of weeks to get back to normal as the stone does quite a bit of damage to the salivary duct as it passes....;

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and I have had a few patients with this problem and i give them a small piece of garlic and get them to put it on the effected part, it works a treat as it is the strongest antibiotic in the world. i have had this problem and the dentist slit open the skin under my tongue and got it out and i used garlic to help the soreness. You can also use ORALDENE that's great for infections, get this from the chemist

I had a severely infected saliva gland. The remedy for mine was to have a small op to remove the gland.

My late husband had a benign tumour in his salivary gland after emoval it took a long time to heal because it is a moist area.
Just keep it clean and it will heal
Sorry no instant cure just good old fashioned time.
Antibiotics take a while to get into your system

You could have another stone in there, or the original stone could have done permanent damage to the nearby nerve meaning it may be best to just remove the gland and nerve completely.
