Don't let these sorts of issues get you down. I shouldn't matter what other people say about your religion.
I belive that in this life we are given the wonderful thing of choice to make up are own minds and all in all you have to remember that all religion stems from the same tree we all belive in a god of some discription.
If people want to pick holes at any religion because they have nothing better to do then remember you belive different.
All I can say is try to keep an open mind about the whole thing as there are too many fundamentalists of religion out there fighting for what they believe is right and everyone else is wrong.
I know that I belive there is something that is more powerfull that us all. Something that created the universe and the planet we call earth.
My grandad when he was alive told me that we all see the same sun and we all breath the same air an in todays society we should all live together as brothers and sisters.
The Ten commandents is a very good way of living and yet everyone breaks these when religion is concerned.
Hope this helps.
King Regards
Craig.

Christianity has had a huge influence on Western culture. It has had more influence on any other religion. Think about all the references to christianity in popular culture as well as in western art, literature and even laws and social standards. It's natural for people to want to challenge the culture in which they live especially when experiencing negative results of that culture. This is why christianity is 'bashed' so much. People are dissatisfied and naturally question the influences. If another religion had the same impact that christianity does on the west, it would be that other religion under fire instead of the christian bible and it's believers.

"if you others dont believe in God and Jesus, and you have no intention of wanting to know more, please leave us alone."
Atheists will leave Christians alone as soon as Christians start leaving atheists alone. Seriously, I can't think of any other faith that is so aggressively spread across the world with the goal of "converting" as many people as possible, using whatever method possible. Some guy came on here just a couple hours ago and posted this whole rant that went something like: "Non-Christians are in Satan's grasp... we must go around and spread our faith... everyone must hear the word of God... we must save the non-Christians from the devil's power..." -- I mean, come on, can you really blame atheists for getting angry when people keep saying that they're somehow affiliated with the Devil? Or that they're going to Hell just because they don't adhere to some book?
I'd LOVE it if it didn't have to be that way, but it is. Christians don't just keep to themselves; if they did, no one would bother them. But instead they find it necessary to announce their faith everywhere, pass laws based on it, get it into schools, and most irritatingly of all, try their very hardest to get everyone ELSE to agree with them. Hinduism is a huge religion too; why doesn't anyone attack Hindus? Simple: Because Hindus leave everyone else alone. I wish every religion did.

I guess people give out about Christianity because the whole thing doesn't really make theoratical sense. If you take Buddasim
it is more of a philosophy then a religion and western people don't have a clue about other religions so whats the point in arguing about them. It's Christianity that is the most popular
religion in Europe. Also people mostly point out faults in Cristianity because Christians go on and on about it saying that we atheists are not going to haven blah blah blah. Most of you are hypicrits anyway. Al least other religious people don't try to spread their different religions and brain wash us.Dont get me wrong I'm not against Christianity but I hate when you guys try to convert us when we don't want to.

Well as you have asked the question i will give my opinion... but i don't think you will like it and give me the thumbs down like every time I give a nice, non abusive, honest answer to any religious person.
I am non religious.... that does non mean i am anti religion or want to burn anyone who is or my life is not good and honest while being good to others just because i don't have one..... That's just being civilised etc.
Being a non believer when i read what you have written all i see is someone trying to preach to me etc with no facts whatsoever or anything to even convince me that its true.... and why would i when all i read on this religious section are Christians and Muslims bigging up their own religion and the other one is rubbish.....thats why alot of people knock your religion and muslims!!!!!

Hello Wyntjies.. :)
Amen beloved brother..Amen!!
Yes, there are many here and everywhere we go that do attack those of other Faiths..I even see (Christians) so called, attack Atheists, and those of other Faiths..
We should ONLY spread the gift of the Spirit for it is Love, Peace, Joy..to be seen by others with gentleness, temperance meekness, goodness, long-suffering and faith against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vainglory, provoking one another, envying one another.
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..your sister..In Christ.. :)

Its just a sign of the times I believe. I mean look at the answers you've gotten, some of them have been downright destructive. Its ok for non-believers to say all sorts about us and what we believe, but we can't 'discriminate' against them, we have to live and let live. You can't let it get you down. I console myself with the fact that Jesus Himself was here and he was treated no better, and I count it a blessing to be identified with Christ whether in glory or persecution.
May we continue to pray for each other so we can have the strength we need to overcome the enemy.

The non-believers come to this site for answers. Because they are not convinced their is no God. Don't believe them when they say they are Atheist, a true Atheist could care less what we think. They are empty inside and have no real joy, peace, or love to give their lives meaning.
1 Peter 4:4 Wherein they think it strange that you run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you.
Just love them, and hang tough. Many that bark the loudest, are the ones really searching. Feed them God's word and pray for them.

You mean "flaws"?
A lot of other religions are flawed at their very core beliefs, and most everyone can see that. True Chrisitianity is a lot harder to refute, and carries a powerful and convicting message that demands people to change, which they resist of course. However it is not our job to shove the Bible down folks' throats, love 'em, give 'em the truth, live holy and let the Holy Spirit bring them to Christ.

Friend this is just satan way of trying to agitate us, Because he knows that he has a very short time, True Christianity has always been persucuted,The people that does this are just trying to downgrade True Christians to ease their guilt, They think talking about us, brings us down to their level, We all once was down at that level, but By Grace we were lifted up above that unbelief.
