Watch the Oprah show. She does not just give money but also houses, cars and gadgets from her favorite things box.

Most of the stuff she gives away on her show has been donated by the company that makes/sells it, not her own pocket. I'm sure she does give away money, but it's not nearly as inflated an amount as the media portrays. And I don't see her setting them straight publicly.

I think that she really gives money. She benefits others and herself with the publicity - a win-win situation. She is fortunate to be able to do so.

I would think she really does give money, especially if she talks about the specific groups she is donating to.

I think she really does. Wouldn't it be nicer if she did it without all the publicity?? Would that make her more humble and less into ego??
