I bought my first young cockatiel about two weeks ago. He is taming up well but the only problem is when he's out of his cage he wees and poos all the time, like once a minute. Is this normal?? I've had birds before that have never done this that often,

The bird is excited and nervous. Two weeks really isn't much time yet for him to absorb "people". We are very large to such a small bird. Think how you would feel if you had King Kong as your care giver and he took you out every now and then for play. You would **** and piss too!

Our quaker poos a lot too. Not every minute, but a lot. You can buy birdie diapers, flight suits. They are a bit pricey if you get the extra stuff, but it will make for a happier owner and bird.

we are goin to get one for our Quaker and one for our green cheek we will be gettin in a couple months.
At least bird poo is not as gross as cat and dog poo.

Birds like this do go to the toilet quite often, he will not feel too safe as yet and it will be an instictive thing so don't worry.
If he was not doing droppings I would be more worried that he was not eating enough.
