I had been scratched by my dog,the dog is always vaccined when it shoudl be,and since I was scratched,it has been 2 months(it's a long time far more than 10 days),my dog still healthy and nothing abnormal.I haven't take any vaccine shot,I wonder if I was in danger.I don't think it is the situation that I should take vaccine, but someone told me I should no matter how the dog appeal. But according to CDC's statement:"if the dog can be confined for 10 days and healthy during this time, people should not take vaccine shot."I'm really confused . I hope there is nothing run with me.

As mentioned already, the dog must have shown signs of infection or death but as you said , your dog is fine. From that point, I can say that you are just fine. However, you should also be careful of it and montior your status. Seeing a specialist or getting the advice of the Veterinarian who is taking care of your dog (you mentioned that it was vaccinated ) will give you peace of mind other that what we people can answer here...professional help is still advisable.Hope this helps. God bless

Rabies is transmitted blood to blood or saliva to blood. Unless your dog had slobber on his nails when he scratched you you are OK-especially if he is vaccinated. Seriously, if it was that easy to get people would be falling out all over the place.

As the dog was vaccinated and is still alive, for more than ten days, you have nothing to fear.

If you have no symptoms by now, I wouldn't worry. You could have gotten a local infection at that time, but not this far along. Cat bites and scratches are far more serious, and usually do cause immediate infection. (bites) If you are seriously worried, see your Dr.
