And obey none but him who follows your religion.' Say, 'Surely, true guidance - the guidance of God, - is, that one be given the like of that which has been given to you - or they would argue with you before your Lord.' I think you are working on an erroneous premise; that 'religion' is a singular entity. In fact, there are many 'religions' in the world, and many of them are virtually unaltered in thousands of years.
However, since you are on this particular website, I may consider that you are primarily referring to the Christian religions; and, yes, there are several of them, most of them having gone through at least some changes over the centuries. Since I am a professing and confessing Christian, I would have to say that time could possibly bring about greater understanding of the scriptures, which would cause my particular branch of the faith to make some changes. But I know for sure that the God I love and serve is real, and His Word is true, so the changes could not be that drastic as to render my faith unfamiliar to me.
Besides, since Christ's return is imminent, there won't be time for too many changes!!

Every religion has seen a breakdown with large segments breaking off within 50 years. Cults breakdown within 20 years. JWs have been around 120 years and had yet to see that happen.

Religion changes to suit man, But God's word NEVER changes, it still remains the same, My faith & salvation only changes as I grow in God, & nothing else, I still believe the same thing I did 36 yrs ago, only that I have learned more. And learning more did not change what I believed 36 yrs. ago, only it is more real today then back then.

Well, mine has been around for thousands, not hundreds of years, and will remain until the earth is no more because God does not change.
Besides, the Bible has been around for thousands of years too my friend, because His Word stays the same and does not change.
