At least you were honest with him. If he really liked you, he would respect that you told him the truth instead of some lie. If he really likes you, he'll be back and if he doesn't well he wasn't worth it to begin with. He asked a question and you gave an honest answer. You didn't do anything wrong.

Honestly you had that one coming, but I'm not going to let you go deeper into despair.
As I go older, I often find teenage moms all over the net (what? no teenage dads?) and their stories of how hard it is to raise a child at that age. I keep thinking that they're growing up too fast, but then again I was a teenager and I had thoughts of it, among the number of nieces and nephews who are already in their teens who come to me for advice.
The guy lost his respect for you must have thought you're too easy, or for something much more harsh that I won't bother mentioning. He must have seen something in you that doesn't go beyond the physical attraction that any human would go for. Love, especially sex, tend to make us more vulnerable to the point you'll be prepared to give yourself to him. I'm sure that he's man enough to know what he wants in terms of physical intimacy, and he did admit that he liked you, but not the way he would have since he respects you as a woman and not some piece of meat to be judged in the market.
You don't have to sell yourself short, but don't sell yourself cheap since you're worth more than that. There are guys (especially the hot young one you mentioned) who is man enough to respect a woman and eventually if both of you are prepared then take the plundge.
