How do you leave a man when you've become totally dependent on him? I'm nervous in public, he does all the talking and ordering and paying. I pretty much do the cleaning and sex and powdering of his ego! I'd be screwed if I left tonight! My name's not on anything! The local women's haven has tried to help but it never sticks. What's the key to leaving? I don't want to hide money from him, I feel like he always knows if I try to lie!

I've done that, went through that. Honestly, it's never easy to do it, BUT ! you've got to tell urself u can do it.

Never let guys look down on you, especially at this century, u'll become a laughing stock. And, no, I'm not asking you to over-stand the guy. It's rather difficult to explain to you.

If you know you're not lying, why bother to be worried that he's spying on you?

Be realistic, money is an important thing in life now, we as woman, need to protect ourself, nothing is forever, for even love.

get a lawyer and state in the case that you are dependent and they have cases were the husband must pay his ex-wife a some of money every month because she didn't/ don't have a work. But for you to get a lawyer you need to get a job.

You just have to do it. Like when you dont want to pull of a bandaid because you know it will hurt, you just gotta do it as quick as you can, then you see it wasn't so bad and the pain goes away quicker than you think.

even if your names not on anything, you still have rights to certain things and you can sue him for palimony if you really wanted

Find a job that provides housing and leave. It's not much but maybe a motel maid? At least you could get away.
