MI is a highly desired job by all officers of any branch and it is very difficult to get especially if you are a guy in the Army or Marines. Most of the time lower level intel slots go to girls. They want the guys in Infantry and other combat arms jobs. When you go to ROTC or OCS you "ask" to be an MI officer but it is really up to the military as to what it is you are actually going to be doing. You have to want to be an officer first and then an MI officer second. I would say the Army is your best bet for MI. The Army has a lot of MI officers and if you have a good GPA and everything else is good you stand a better chance than with any other branch. Be prepared to do a few years in Artillery, Armor, or Artillery before getting transferred into MI. This happens a lot! It is called a branch detail.

If you still need a bachelors then look at ROTC. If you have one go talk to the local recruiter about getting an OCS slot.

Start by getting a college degree or a least an Associates with the commitment to get the other two years while in the military...That's what it take to be a Officer..Military Intelligence (a contradiction of terms), you can ask for this speciality and they will train you.

First, enlist as a soldier or be commissioned as an officer in the military. Then, volunteer or work it out that you join the Intelligence Group of any branch of service. Subsequently, attend intelligence courses and you will now become a full pledge military intelligence personnel.

If you have a bachelor's degree, you can apply for Officer's Candidate School. First, you have to complete Basic Training and AIT in case you don't make it through OCS. Then, if you did well in those phases, you can attend OCS. After graduation from OCS, you will attend your Basic Officer Course for your branch. I believe the MI training is still at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. Talk to your local Army recruiter and ask to talk to the recruiting officer.

the protection rigidity does no longer care approximately your GPA. As long has you graduated with a level it particularly is all that concerns. See a recruiter and bypass OCS. Air rigidity pace is somewhat slower in assessment the army's. each and all the officers look to get alongside in my Unit. artwork is artwork and the pay is often large. the reason you are able to no longer discover the AF Recruiter is because of the fact they are extra kick back. and that they do no longer look to be attempting to screw human beings around. AF particularly is going out of their thank you to maintain a high quality of existence for all of their airmen. military is extra centred on challenge than high quality of existence. in case you establish to bypass military do no longer enlist as a SPC (E4) once you qualify for OCS. it particularly is merely protecting your self decrease back. That development appreciate with your infantrymen is crap. you will no longer even see any of those infantrymen by the time you bypass to OCS. there are maximum of computers strikes. do no longer forget concerning the army. If i exchange into you i'd certainly decide for the Air rigidity or the army. Stake out the Air rigidity guy its particularly worth it. he's no longer out searching for human beings because of the fact getting human beings bypass sign up isn't no longer common. the army guy is extra lively because of the fact.....consistent with hazard they could be somewhat extra persuasive.

What is your background besides civilian? Have you gone to college? If not or if the major is not related to this goal, think about criminal justice? ROTC I've heard is a great way to get your foot in the door. I hope this will help you. I will you the best of luck.
