No, it is not an absolute truth.
unless doing well is not the same thing as falling short of the glory of god, everything that seems "OK" if it falls short of Gods glory it will be less than the reward which testifies YOU shall receive all things. And if any of us are shown What WE could've had! then eternity will be bleak and become apathetic.
On the other hand if the slate is wiped clean and we can start over there is another chance that our future can be restored and all its fullness of the glory of God

i don't think that everything eventually turns out right for everybody but i believe that everything happens for a reason. and i don't fear the future because i live in today. i don't worry about things that are going to happen i just live and try to be happy. roll with the punches.
