here's how it works..

hypnosis is the state of mind when you are not able to figure things logically..
it's when someone alters your consciousness specially your waking consciousness..

actually HYPNOSIS IS REAL..scientists nowadays use that method to make the patient feel no pain during the surgical procedures..

and take note, it's as effective as the anesthesia..try to look for that in the internet..

and the other application of it is that, an interrogating officer may hypnotize the suspect to let the suspect reveal what has truly happened since the subconscious state of mind conquers the waking state of mind..

that's why they consider the subconscious state of mind as the "SECOND BRAIN"..

Hypnosis is not an abnormal mental state and does not differ substantially from the normal conscious 'waking' condition. In fact, hypnosis is a natural state that feels rather like that very relaxed and contented feeling you get right before you fall asleep at night.

A hypnotized person will generally feel what s/he expects to feel. The hypnotist's skill is less important than the person's belief system, which is all that really matters and determines hypnotisability.
