I know every generation thought that, but I believe we have more reason to believe he will come back in this life time than any generation. Remember 1000 years on this earth is like 1 day in Heaven as God is outside time.. Also have you read 23 minutes in Hell by a guy called Bill Weise, and what did you think of it. He described the horrors of Hell, and it sounded worse that the bible described it. It was an interesting book. I suggest you read it, as there is truth to it. Also have you read Marry K Baxter's book"Divine revelation of Hell". I found it very scary, but true. I guess this is a wake up call for the last days generation.

well for starters the so called rapture is a non event ,it will never happen.and nobody knows what hell is like, those books that you are quoting are just fiction because if they were real then they would be the first to go and come back to talk about it,,please dont be fooled they just want to sell books.

I haven't read those books - but I must agree that the rapture has got to be very, very close. Just looking at the mark of the beast brings to mind a computer chip or some kind of DNA marker used as an eftpos card. To most this seems harmless - but this system would hand complete control over where, when, what and IF you can eat, sleep at, travel, etc to a government... a globalised government....

No !!

Rev.10:6 And sware by Him that liveth for ever and ever, Who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
TIME NO LONGER
Rev.10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets.
SEVENTH ANGEL WHEN HE BEGINS TO SOUND

I Cor.15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM
I Cor.15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
ALL BE CHANGED, NOT JUST THE CHURCH
I Cor.15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
AT THE LAST TRUMP, SEVENTH

I Thes.4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
THE TRUMP OF GOD, SEVENTH
I Thes.4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
THE CLOUDS
The word “the” is not in the Greek manuscripts. Clouds is used by Paul for a throng.
Heb.12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
THE AIR
The word “air” Greek (aer) means “to breathe, respire”, NOT SKY. In other words the breath of life or spirit. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

II Thes.2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,
OUR GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM
II Thes.2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
NOR BY LETTER AS FROM US, FIRST THESSALONIANS
II Thes.2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS
The sequence of events is Satan first, then the Lord’s day.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
TWO CANDLESTICKS

Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
CANDLESTICKS ARE CHURCHES

Yet there are men that teach the church is raptured. Men that teach that flesh and blood is taken and others left behind. It’s nonsense when you study His Word.

There will be no rapture like the born again religions keep telling us, its all made up to keep you fools in line, and to keep your money rolling in. The whole idea of a rapture is less than 200 years old.

Yes I believe it will happen in my life time. I'm 61. But if it doesn't happen before I pass then this is still my last generation.

I don't think we can know for sure, but I hope it happens in my lifetime.
