I talked to my doc and he said it could be migraines, but would that cause me to sleep like 3/4 of the day? I mean, I sleep non stop, and the head aches don't go away, they get worse when I wake up. He said I'm stressed and put me on prozac, but I'm still having all that other crap, what's the deal? Could there be something else wrong that he can't see or what? Can someone tell me what they think, to help me figure this out? I'm tired of hurting and being tired.

Migraine's really suck! I know-I suffer with them too. I also suffer with depression and insomnia. I then fall asleep during the day. These are probably all related somehow. I know if I don't get enough sleep or sleep too much, this can bring on a migraine. And living like that can make anyone feel their life sucks!!!
Do you get any auras before a headache. I get "floaters" (tiny little lights a lot like fireflies!).
I would ask to have your thyroid checked and get tested for diabetes. Both of these can cause daytime sleepiness, headaches and depression.I was found to have both.
I treat my headaches with Tylenol#3 (codeine) I take Celexa for the depression. This usually cures the insomnia but I ***occassionally***take a sleep aid.
Also try some relaxtion techniques-it may sound corny but they really work. And try to stop worrying about it all-stress will just create a vicious circle of headaches and depression!!!

It could be a million things. The first thing to try doing is eating better and exercise. I know that is the first thing anyone tells you, but that's because a lot of times it works. Your head aches and depression could be caused by sleeping to much. I know being tired sucks but you might try setting an alarm and just trying to get less sleep. Also rather than going to a regular doctor maybe you should see if you can find a doctor who specializes in sleep disorders. He could probably diagnose you a lot better.

Hi Csly, Your depression is causing you to sleep to much.Your head aches could be from your eyes'. When i was in High Shool manying years ago,1 of my friend's was getting terrible head aches and the doctors couldn't figure out the cause. Someone told her mom to take her to an eye doctor, and she did. Those terribleable head aches was from her eyes. She need glasses. After that, her head aches stop. Maybe you should see an eye doctor. You need to go to mental health and have some test done on you,so you can get the right medication that will help you. The sooner the better. If you want to get will. A Friend.

sweetie, u need serious help. go see 2 more doctors, get their opinions. what kind of work do you do? do u work all day with out proper rest? or maybe u rest too much without excises that could be contributing to your head aches. it could also be home strress, lack of friends, no support from family, loneliness...lack of stimulation. but you could be seriously ill, check if you are not developing brain tumors, God forbid!

What's the "all that other crap" about? You are the best person to know what's bothering you, mentally, emotionally. Start with the people you live with ... is anyone in trouble? behavior problems? addictions? etc...
