Why do all christians belive athiesm and those belonging to the church of satan are evil? Those that say it are uninformed. Those belonging to the church of satan do not belive in the murder of animals and children to bring foth demonic eras, they beleive lust and glutony are not ins but are natural feelings and should be treated as so. Also many christains and catholics will say mormons are liars or satan worshipers. While many people belive that chritians are idiots for wasting their time giving thanks to a non-existant being that did not help you obtain what you have today. And scientologists are not a scary cult. What is wrong with people today and the only real reason for religion any more is to try and push similer belifs upon those who think differently and to alientate those of different religions and it has become a poularity contest to see who can obtain, hold, and satisfy members the best. OPEN TO DISCUSSION!!!!

to Johnny Cee, Misinformed of what? a little white book that for all you know could have been written for fame and money. And I find it hard to beleive things that are proven wronge. In our history books it states the churces were losing money and therefor they created the pope, believed to be like jesus, and they told more stories of hell than of heaven to scare non beleivers. People need to grow up and start reling on fact rather than the opinion of fat men in white robes!

Honestly I belive the only reason many people believe in God is because they are afraid that "just in case" he is real, they dont want to go to hell so they fill their minds with it until they have fooled themselves into beleiving it!

THIS IS GREAT U PEOPLE CANNOT STAND ME ATTACKING YOUR RELIGIONS! and many of my words are misspelled due to lagging of my keyboard. Its funny how if you attck a christians faith, they will say nothing but "you are lieing" or "god bless you" but can you give me a reason why anyone who feels the way I do is lieng? I am not athiest also. But has any1 ever considered that maybe those who do not belive in god are not the misguided ones? But those who do are. And I am also not saying that all people fo a certain religion feels the same way on these issues, i am simply puttin some of them out here and getting your reactions.

I do see where I put all and I appologize for that, because I know not all people feel this way. Where do we go after we die? And how can any1 honestly say that they are going to heaven or hell when we do not know what happens. When a machine breaks down it goes nowhere, is that what we are doomed to? Maybe this heaven is a place to lessen your fears of death because it is a natural process. I said OPEN DISCUSSION that meant that I am willing to have an open and honest discussion with any1 without me personally passing judgment on any, and I have not, therfor you should not judge me and say I am an athiest and I am a mis-led moron.

I would like to thank many of you for completely proving my point. Mnay of you were so quick to defend your religion, that you did not stop to take a look from an1 elses point of veiw, and that is why people are mis-led, outcasted, and shut-out from others religions and lives. You wer so quick to see me as the enemy, many of you did not even see the point in this forum.

I am a Christian, and I do not believe the things you have written in your question. I do not put myself above others because I am still figuring everything out for myself. You stating that all Christians do this proves that you are uninformed. The other points you made seem to point to the fact that you may be just as narrow minded as those you accuse. Are you only wanting someone to agree with you?

I agree with you in some ways. It is hard to belong to any religion and have it constantly attacked or people telling you you are wrong or you are going to hell. The thing I hate the most is when people who are not of the religion TELL you what YOU believe...I am LDS and run into that all the time. People will say "oh mormons believe this" and I could tell them "no we don't" and yet they think I am lying! Very Silly.
Being defensive is sort of good in a way though because it shows at least the person is willing to stand up for what they believe in. I don't believe in arguing or telling someone they are right or wrong, I can only express what I personally believe in. What that person chooses to do with that information is their own choice of course.
That said, I must say that I do believe that all the religion "dysfunction" and "confusion" is of Satan. I believe he blinds people into believing one way or the other and he does a good job. Consider this: Adam and Eve, the very first religion (the true gosepl) taught to them. Then one person doesn't like one or two things about it so he starts his own but keeps some of the original doctrine, then someone else doesn't like that so they change a few things and maybe add a few, then another and another and another...this is all because Satan plants doubts and conflict in our minds to lead us astray... We can only feel two spirits - one is Christ's and one is Satans.

I do believe there is only one completely true religion, others have bits and pieces of the true gospel but not all of it. It was restored to the earth by Christ through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I have prayed and received answers countless times of many quesitons I had about my religion, the prophets, the teachings...and every time I have had a comforting, but firm answer. I know what I believe is true and that it is the only way back to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Scientology, while not necessarily "satanic" in nature, is scary. I've heard too many horror stories to believe otherwise.
I don't believe that atheists are "satanic", but I know for a fact that they're not serving God. Who are they serving? Themselves? I don't know.
Satanists, it all depends. I do know there are two kinds of satanism. One is actual devil worship. The other is worship of self, and the belief that nothing is a sin. It's closer to atheism, in my humble opinion.
I don't think Mormons are liars or satan worshippers either. They're good people. I don't agree with some things that they believe, but I realize that God judges a person's HEART.

I AM out to convert people, but not because I want them to think the same way I do, and not because I feel I have a right to judge them. I don't. I am out to convert people because I love them, and I want them to know the same peace I know.
I thought I knew peace...I didn't, not until the moment I laid everything in front of God (not literally, but figuratively speaking).
You can read my blog for more details on that one.

I would not attend a church whose attitude was what you describe. God could not be there if that were true.

Your opinion is based on a number of errors and half truths, which can easily lead people in the wrong direction.

Evidently, you have no idea what the true nature of evil really is.

God chose a central moment in human history to send his son, Jesus, on a mission of eternal life, truth, and peace, for all mankind.

He didn't do it unannounced.

He didn't just come and leave without a trace, either.

Jesus was clear about why he came, which was to destroy the evil dominion of the devil, who had enslaved mankind since the beginning.

And because this is the truth, anyone who does not faithfully line up on God's side, makes himself a disciple of the evil one, who will also share in Satan's eternal destiny.

The history and theology regarding this matter is readily available to all, and has been common knowledge, right up to the present day.

If you aren't familiar with it, send me a mailing address and I'll send you a free CD which includes everything you need to know.

Well, this is a fine kettle of worms.

My opine is: Any 'club' that practices exclusivity is just that a club. A club that has rules and bylaws, a club expects its members to act, talk, and walk in a certain manner, a club has punishments up to and including throwing you out of the club. Any club also believes that it is the best club, and that all other clubs are inferior as well as the individual members would have to be. A club will also claim to be the most persecuted as a badge of its correctness, and righteousness to its members. This is where, i believe, the vast majority of organized religions fall.

Spirituality is a closer walk with your god(s), a view that raises all people to that of spiritual beings, not club members. It is inclusive, passionate, and personal.

Your question is so broad and rambling it is difficult to answer. So I will start with the basics. "Whey do ALL Christians........."!! Any time I see the word "all" I immediately become very skeptical for the writer is casting a very broad net that is based on his/her biases and prejudical world view.

Here we have the perfectly ridiculuos situation where you are appealing to others not to cast Statanists, Mormons, Scientologists into a preconceived mold but at the same time you place "ALL" Christians into a very narrow field of view. This dichotomy speaks volumes about your prejudices and intolerance. And of course we both know it is nigh on impossible to have OPEN DISCUSSION where prejudice and intolerance abound.

Christians are the "cause celeb" targets these days but when was it ever any different. It is very fashionable to bash Christians but again when was it ever any different?

Personally I do not like being called an atheist because I am just somebody who doesn't believe in gods or devils or anything supernatural for that matter. I sincerely hope that I am in no way evil and try very hard to ensure that my actions do not adversely affect others. Try not to concern yourself with the petty conflicts created by religious differences and try to accept that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

I am a christian. I believe there is indeed a God. I believe he sent his only son, Jesus to die upon the cross for the forgiveness of sins. Whoever comes through the son to the father shall be saved. It is not a matter of opinion but faith. Based upon the teachings of the Bible, we 'know' that those who turn their backs upon God and do not accept Jesus as their savior shall perish in the flames of hell. I am certain those who do not believe in God or Jesus are decent/good people. Yet they are still heading to hell. Christians do not mean to 'impose' their faith upon another, but to bring the word of life to them so they may not suffer eternal damnation. May God bless you.

"all' don't believe that.

Overlooking that though, I will say that for some the investment in their faith is to convince themselves that they are special. To be special for being faithful, they need to believe that there is some penalty for those who aren't faithful. The loudmouths you are mostly referring too are generally VERY insecure people, and its a good thing they found Christianity, because if they didn't they would likely be in some cult by now.

Time to awken from dreamland or strong delusion.

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
