Research has proved that an average human being is able to maintain peak concentration levels for only 40 minutes.
So take a few minutes break after every 40 minutes and then resume your studies.
Leave aside the research part, this exercise has worked very well for me.

Practical are not boring they can be managed to study for longer time. But as far as concern the theory is concerned it takes time and boring too.
For theory to study:
Read the chapter in limited time as fast as possible i.e. in limited time with constant speed, doesn't bother about learning, just read it.
When the reading is complete remember what you have taken down in mind while reading, whatever point you remember just rememberise them and then read it when you get curious about some of the points. To create interest is not easy task but can be created and will definetely improve your sitting and reading power.

concentrate on the topic ,,,,, make relevant questions bout why? , what?, when?, whom ? , how?, etc. and try to answer those as you go thru your text ..
