To believe is to accept without knowing second hand information to be true through one's own experience. The question ends with truth, but truth holds no value when it comes to a belief, except that if you believe it to be true, meaning that a person has a belief and then there is second hand knowledge to support one's belief, then a persons belief is further validated in a sense. You could say that truth is like anything else, it is subject to interpretation based on an individuals perception and it is. This is why so many people, see so many different truths, through the same material found in the Bible.

Mostly true. And I don't need to look into your link. I did plenty of research before I came to the conclusion that the Bible is true.
The only two things that are in question in the Bible is the story of Jonah, and the story of Job.

It tells me the life of Jesus Christ, hence it is a precious book to me. I am not bothered about whether the Bible is true or false, because it contains some fair thoughts that force us to do righteous things.

It isn't what I believe or what anyone else believes that will make these passages any more or less true. This is not a question to be decided by popularity. You must be the thinker...

So... What do you think about it? True or false.? Believable or not.? Credible or incredible.?

The original Bible has been lost with time and its true message has been replaced with the words written by humans. I believe that the original was true and accurate - but I'm afraid that today's version of Bible is corrupted and false, with all due respect to my Christian brothers and sisters.

Somebody said yesterday that it would be really great to be able to read a gospel by Jesus Christ, and not by Luke or John. Yeah, would be awesome really!

peace and blessings :)

I believe the bible is just one person's version of the events that happened at the time it was written

True and false are fluid terms. If you are asking if the events are factual, physical evidence says absolutely not. That doesn't take away from the truthiness of it for some people though.

I can assure you that the world was never flooded, and noah did not stick the 300K species of animals we see today on his ark.
