Is it because you are not happy with your life and want somebody to pick on? Or maybe you have had a bad experience with christianity.? Look I know there are some hypocrites in the church been there done that. Just to let you guys now, we are all sinners right? whether we have lied just once in our life, blasphemed, stollen things even if it is small , that makes us a thief. I was a big sinner before I became a christian and guess what? I am saved because of what Jesus has done for us. We cannot save ourselves. None of us are perfect. But peoples, the difference between nonchristians and christians is simple, Christians (not all) are saved. Not all meaning there is people out there claiming to be christians and go to church once per week, but live a life of sin the next. True Christians are saved by grace, because they have put their trust in a saviour called Jesus and are Heaven bound, and are children of the most high God, and unbelievers without Jesus who die are Hell bound.

I don't pick on Christians. I like them, generally speaking.

Don't take it personally. It's not just Christians, in fact, it's the Muslims and Jews who get picked on the most. Religion is always going to be picked on, and will probably be picked apart more and more over the next few decades.

I think people have a problem with Christianity because people sense a 'holier than thou' attitude with it. I am not a Christian, but I strive to be an exceptionally good person. Every day I try and make a difference to people's lives, in a positive way. I'm not perfect- like every other person on this planet, Christians included. But because I am not a Christian, does this mean I am hellbound? That the man down the road who spends his life in a church and praying- yet is a selfish person who cares only for himself- deserves heaven more than myself- who dedicates most of my daily thoughts and actions to caring for the living?

If Christianity was more about living our lives and supporting others out of love- and following Jesus's example- and less about an obsession with the character of Jesus himself- then maybe people would find it less hypocritical.

To assume that a large percentage of the world's people is going to burn in hell is a disgustingly egotistical, spiteful and inhuman attitude that exudes cultural and religious intolerance and is every bit as sinful as the sins that you claim you have been saved from.

If people want to be good Christians, they need to follow their saviour's example: be good, be kind, be loving, respect all living creatures and forgive.

you need to understand a couple things from our end. to us you are spewing magical make believe that is full of fairy dust and lollypops and the occasional genocidal maniac. it all bears the same weight as JRR Tolkein's Rings, only in a much less readable way. So as you are talking about your magic baby and your invisible broke man in the sky you find it insulting to your core when we say something about evolution or human sexuality. Yes, you can talk about your god murdering people on genocidal scales (much of the Old Testement) and we are supposed to take you seriously, but if I say that I want to marry the man I love and make love to on a regular basis, you get offended. Suddenly I'm attacking you. Well, so be it. Religious people are far too sensitive anyway. Mostly all we that attack your faith are asking is that you stop following blindly and question a few people from time to time. do you suppose jesus may have chuckled a little after he called you all sheep? If (IF!!) god is real and is perfect then you should be able to question him from dawn to dusk and always come up with the same answer. So we posit ideas for you to think on that might instigate some internal investigation on your part. But that's usually too much work for church going christians. I'd wager you haven't even read the entire bible. and yet you preach out of it. tsktsk...

according to threat most of the atheists easily experience as though they're assisting us to no longer be misguided, basically as some Christians experience as though they're assisting atheists no longer be misguided. it quite is a seize 22. If the two sides might provide up "finding out on on one yet another," issues could be cool. in all fairness, the two sides each and every each and every now and then "%. at" and "attack," Calling Christians stupid and asking ludicrous questions is senseless, as is forcing any ideals on yet another individual. Criticizing everybody is unkind and does no reliable. It purely makes for undesirable thoughts. Calling names purely makes the guy who does it look infantile and immature. I even have considered that achieved besides.) It does get tiresome, does not it. Atheists do no longer comprehend that God does not exist. they have no unequivocal data. they are asserting we've no unequivacol data, the two. it quite is a pointless argument.

The answer is simple … You started it! lol

I think I’m really nice to Christians actually. Have you stopped to think that atheists are like everyone else? Some are angry, some happy, some ticklish and some have their tonsils removed when they are children.

Hope this helps, Sweetie

Although to be fair - I'm agnostic

People only pick on the Christians who are evangelical and preachy tell everyone that they're going to Hell. The way I see it, I don't want end up in heaven with a bunch of preachy bible thumpers. At least in hell I'll have some good company.

I don't..I am one. They pick on the ones who say "You all will go to hell!" without even bothering to tell how to avoid it (by getting saved). This may make people paint a false picture of us Christians of being stuck-up and preachy. I am not one of those.

Oh like they don't pick on me? I treat others the way they treat me. If someone calls me horrible person, a sinner and totally wrong, I'm not going to smile and tell them to have a nice day!

Thank you very much, Sir, for condemning me to hell because I don't find Jesus (pbuh) to be my saviour. God is my saviour only! As for your question, God is my witness that I have never insulted any Christian. I believe in unconditional love and tolerance . It gets hard to practise it, but I believe it's worth it.

Have a nice day :)

I pick on christians because they're always trying to impose their beliefs on me.

"unbelievers without Jesus who die are Hell bound."
