IN Home Care Giver?

DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT WHAT IT COST TO HAVE A PERSON STAY FOR A DAY TIME SHIFT OF 12 HOURS ?

I'M LOOKING FOR SOME TO TAKE CARE OF MY MOTHER WHO IS 71 AND IN HER OWN APARTMENT AND COOK FOR HER AND DUE LIGHT CLEANING AND TAKE HER TO THE DOCTOR ETC. IN HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA

In Hollywood? I'd be shocked if you could get someone willing to do that for less than $200/day. As a nanny in Kentucky I made $10/hour (which would be $120/day for 12 hours), and that didn't include cooking or cleaning. It might be easier to get a live-in person, who would get a certain smaller stipend in addition to free room and board.

I am a caregiver for 4 years in Wyoming (Jackson Hole) We are considered to be the richest county in US. I charge $18 for a mimial needs person, but go up to $22 for my needs. I charge totally by the hr. She would probably be better of getting someone to live with her if there is room. Exchange room and board with a smaller salary. Do serious reference check. I only would hire someone who at least had a certified nursing assistant license and CPR. Too many loons out there to be staying with your loved one without certain requirements.

Put an add in the local paper. It wil cost more for someome with qualifications but if you just want someone like yourself then it should be cheaper. Like maybe someone who has lost thier own mother but is willing to help yours!!! If u place an add discuss with applicants how much they expect

I AM AN IN HOME CARE GIVER.........I CARE FOR 3 ADULTS AND 2 DISABLED CHILDREN EVERY DAY.

CALIFORNIA IS GOING TO BE HIGHER PRICES THAN IN INDIANA BECAUSE OF TAX.

BUT I CHARGES 75 DOLLARS A DAY BUT THAT IS COOKING, CLEANING, LAUNDRY, MEDICINE, ERRANDS, NAME IT, I DO IT.

CALIFORNIA, PROBABLY EXPECT 105 A DAY.
