One has to be sceptical and do their research before they do any anonymous meeting especially from the internet. I actually met my current boyfriend there and we have been together for close to 6 months now. He has met my parents and just about my whole family and they all love him, as do I. Just be carful.

Well seeing as you dont actualy meet people on My Space since it isent an real location i would say that yes it is a safe place. Because there is nothing they can do to you on My Space no harm can come to you so you are safe. Now if there are plans to meet elsewhere then myspace it not be safe

It can go either way. If you're smart you shouldn't have any problems. I met my g/f of almost a year now on Myspace!

lol, let me answer this simply with the knowledge i have in web design and police studies, NO. many kids are expoited through these sites, many girls are raped through these sites. it happens rarely, but its nieve to think its not there.
P.S. In most cases, sexual predators talk with their victims for more then 4 months before meeting

I personally don't like it I only use it for the people I already know like my friends family and old friends that find me there or I find but that's it.
