It only really hurts when you have it put on and taken off. But only for a couple of hours, sometimes even a few days. Also when you get your retainer, it kind of hurts.
I would advise putting white bands for your colors, cause it actually looks better then having colors on plus it can make your teeth look whitter But it still is pretty cool to have on the colors. Good Luck.

I have had the top ones since August. I dont eve realise they are on now. But had the bottom one put on on Tuesday and they hurt soo much. Just an achey pain and you cant really eat. But the pain only last about 3 or 4 days. And then you forget about them :]

When I had braces, I would feel pain only when they tightened them...which wasn't too bad. You can take something to help with the pain, like ibuprofen or something else at the drugstore. I think I used Vicks Chloraseptic for soreness as well.

you would be depressing for variety of two days. Xylocaine numbs the discomfort in case you rub slightly of it on the sore section. do no longer devour it. My son used dental wax that sticks directly to the braces and stops the pointy edges from hurting the lips. solid luck. In some days you will no longer even comprehend that they are there. My son is so completely blind to them now.

it does hurt some but it is more achey then anything. Taking some Tylenol or some kind of pain reliever helps to relieve the pain though.

It doesn't really hurt, although sometimes it gets a little achy. Nothing bad, though.
