I believe there is a Goddess and a God. Everything in nature requires balance, so why would the same not be true of God?
Plus, in the OT, when God talks about himself, the original Hebrew text actually in the female form, not male.

If God were a woman she would have done a better job on the plumbing. When was the last time you heard a man complain about a bladder, yeast, or general urinary track infection? Also, there is no way men are giving birth.
If men gave birth there would be an abortion clinic on every corner of every town in America - right across the street from the topless bar and auto parts store.

God is totally diferent than us,not a male nor female, not even a human being,If the female is the simbol of birth then don't forget that the male is the cause of this birth.

By definition, God is neither man nor woman.
God is above that: to assign a sex to God is to assign a limit to God, which is to say that God is not Ominpotent, which would make God not God.
Don't play that stupid God/Goddess game: God is neither male nor female. God does what God wants.

i in my opinion believe that there is a blend of fairly some issues in the Bible. i believe that somethings are literal, historians and archeologists have shown that. many stuff are metaphorical besides. human beings look to ignore that it change into written through a diverse way of existence, in a diverse time, and change into meant to teach instructions about existence, and our relationship with all that exist. It wasn't meant to be a e book about technology. nonetheless, there is very a lot of understanding to be got here across in the Bible. speaking of technology, have you ever studied Quantum Physics? Albert Einstein did and referred to as it "foolishness," and "voodoo technology." Now, most of the theories he brushed aside are being shown. And, i love what a Quantum Chemist, whose call i'll't save in thoughts immediately says about the hot discoveries that are being made in that field, "each and every time we come across something new i imagine, 'so as that is how God did it." What Quantum Physics calls "the sphere of countless opportunities," mankind has referred to as, "God." Huh, imagine that. Anthony

I don't know if God literally has a gender. I think we refer to God as a male because of simple pronoun reference. I'm not sure. I just don't think God needs a certain gender cause its not like He's gonna multiply.
