Before I pitch the idea, can't y'all work it out? Why do you want to breakup with her? If you worry about hurting her feelings, you must have some feeling for her. Anyway, if you can't work things out, here's an idea that a girl used on me once and it worked...that f@cking b*tch: - Make it her idea.

Step 1: Become an @$$hole, leave the toilet seat up or whatever ticks her off.

Step 2: Then get a friend (wingman) who is good looking to make passes at her and tell her all the things she wants to hear (You can fill him in on this) If she thinks she can do better, she will drop YOU like mob informer in the east river.

Simply write her a letter. Everyone loves mail, but it is so rarely done anymore that she will feel you felt it was important enough to actually sit down and write a letter. It should be at least 2+ pages, be hand written and be honest. Try and make sure after she receives it that she won't be able to contact you for a couple of days. When we read something and we can't talk to the person for a while it sinks in....Anyhow, after a week goes by NOW get a card and simply write "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you, it just has to be this way" .... I will call you in the future. But wait about a month to call. This WILL work if done the right way. good luck, Jack

The only way that's going to happen is if she wanted to break up with you too. If not, then it comes with the territory. Just be up front and honest about your reasons. At least you can still become friends afterward when she gets over the bitterness.

Well if you are only worried about her not hurting you and nothing else then do it over the phone or in an e-mail, granted that neither of those ways are nice or proper you will get out of a beating.

chances are, she is going to be hurt no matter what. its just how it goes with break ups, unless its mutual. but if she doesn't see it coming, it might hurt,

tell her how you feel, dont be mean about it, just tell her for what ever your reason is that you can't be with her anymore. and thats all you can do.

she might cry, and she might hate you or says she does but she is just hurting, its none avoidable...sorry. breakups are never really easy

I don't think there is a way. She will be hurt in some way, even if she appears to be happy and hides her pain.

Its impossible...she's gonna be hurt. But you have to let her know that you hurt too and that its one of the hardest things you've done
