been with my bf for the last few years now. i love him and he loves me, but theres so much we dont see eye to eye on. it doesnt help that he lives in another country now. only recently i found that he has been lying to me about trips to see another woman and also chatting on date sites. i've confronted him and things were better for a while. but the trust seems to be gone. he has tried so much to change by assuring me he doesnt want another girl. so far, he has severed ties with all of them but one (the female friend he went to secretly visit). he says he lied because he didnt want me to get upset that he was visiting a friend. he seemd sorry, but wen i found an iloveu txt 2 her i was so hurt. yet we eventually tried to work it out. i know they r just friends. its d lying that really hurts. i need to trust him and i think we have to start fresh. i think that woman friend is hurting our relationship, bt he wont leave her. so i cant trust him. i know its over,bt am i being unreasonable?

Unreasonable? "he ll no"
Do you realize how hard it is to have a real relationship with someone in your own state let alone out of the country? I'm sure you do, but is it worth it to you to go through this struggle with someone that lies to you? You'll always be wondering, and it sounds like he'll always be wandering!

A long distance relationship is hard and it may be impossible to keep it monogamous. My brother married his wife after a long distance relationship in which they both agreed while separated they could see other people. Sounds weird but worked for them. If you're relationship is meant to be it could work. My rule is if my eye is wandering then the relationship is not working.

If you love each other
it is only worth saving if you are mature enough for a relationship.
other wise you will hurt the one you love and ruin any chance of saving your relationship with petty arguments.
