Yes, he should.
But it would have been better if he had pulled a Hitler and killed himself so no one would have to execute him.

As for Michael K's remarks, they predicted the same thing before Hussein was found guilty, and they were wrong.

It is not our decision. This is up to the Iraq courts and the elected Iraqi government.

BTW - all of the losers who think that we (the US) placed Saddam in charge of the Iraqi government need to read some history.

Anybody who thinks that the US sold weapons to Saddam need to identify the make and model of these 'weapons.'

Anybody who thinks that we financed Saddam needs to also read some history.

The fact of the matter is that the US did none of these - as you would know if you actually researched the issue.

On the other hand - the major reasons that Europe did not want Saddam removed was they were worried about their exclusive oil contracts with him, their billions of dollars worth of loans to him and their arms sales to him.

Trivia note - Saddam's chemical weapon factories were designed and built by West German engineers.

I honestly don't believe in the death peanalty because I feel that taking a life is not up to us, but he should certainly be punished for the crimes he has committed.

Saddam Hussien deserves to be punished that is why he was sentenced to die by hanging.

No, the US supplied the weapons he used to kill those people. Rumsfeld can be seen in pictures shaking Hussein's hand. Therefore we have no right to take his life.

Also, it has been predicted that sectarian violence in Iraq will increase if this happens! Sounds like a bad idea to me.

His death is not important. He will probably be imprisoned for life but the US needs to take part of his guilt for supplying him with weapons and money to become what he did.

If they're gonna hang Saddam, they ought to do the same to Bush. In my opinion, they're both guilty of "crimes against humanity".
