small triangle on top of window?

Question

hi, i work on an aircraft, & on some window, there are a few windows with small triangle sticker above them.

I was asked by one of the passenger what is the the triangle there & i couldnt answer him..

I check with another coleague, & she told me it's meant for the engineers, but what prupose does it serve, she couldnt answer me as well..

Could anyone advise me on that..

maybe it is made of material that can be gained access to in an emergency, such as those windows with a big red triangle we see in shopping centres. They are for civil defence to gain access to the building in the event of fire.
