Where does it come from, this quest, this need to solve life’s mysteries, the simplest of questions that can never be answered?

Why are we here? What is the soul? Why do we dream? Maybe we are better off not looking at all, not delving, not yearning, but that’s not human nature, not the human heart. That’s not why we are here, at the end what does it matter if the human heart can only find meaning in the smallest of moments.

We all imagine ourselves as the agents of our own destiny, capable of determining our own fate, but have we truly a choice when we rise, and when we fall?

God has set up a void in our hearts that only he can fill. We are made up of spirit, soul and body. The spirit part of us longs for the things eternal. God has already tugged at your heart drawing you to Him. Ask Jesus to open the way for Him to reveal Himself to you. For those who seek Him with all the heart shall find Him. God bless you and reveal Himself to you.

The common theme thoughout the universe is simple harmonic motion. Absolutely everything moves in cycles. It is the fundamental basis on which we exist. Some cycles are so long that they don't seem like cycles, because we only see a very small part of the cycle. Some cycles are so short that we don't realise they are cycles.

We are here to sustain the "life" of the universe. Our soul is the link back to the universal life. Our dreams are not created by our brain, but rather are mimicked by it. Consider, when you are thinking to yourself, are you thinking in English? No, you are actually thinking in a universal language which cannot be spoken. We reproduce our form (have kids) so that links with the universal life can be maintained, so that the universal life can feast upon our senses. All living things are linked to the universal life.

Consider what happens if you block your ears, close your eyes, hold your nose, and stand very still. Where are you then? You are no"where", yet you are everywhere. That's where you are when you are asleep. You have no senses to feed from, so you are physically nowhere in particular.

Each of the links we have to the universal life are individual, so we are not someone else, and we have no way of communicating with anyone else other than through our human senses...or do we?

This is where vibrations (cycles) come back into the picture. If we can vibrate our minds at the same frequency, then they become one, and we will know what each other is thinking. However there are an infinite range of frequencies, so it is very rarely that we "lock in" with someone elses mind. Deja vu is an example of where such locking in takes place for a fleeting moment.

We have no choice but for our minds to vibrate, and that is what drives our yearning to understand what this existance is all about.

When someone "commits suicide", it is because they see no purpose in their life. The link is broken and reformed with another living thing at it's "birth". The link usually will not be exactly from the same part of the universal life, and so the "memory" will not be there from the previous link. In the rare instance where the same link is made again, people can recall, under hypnosis, previous experiences.

Anyway, I hope this gives you another perspective on life and it's meaning. I have no doubt that you have a great purpose in your life and I wish you every happiness in it.

i guess consciousness comes with responsebilities. Our reasoning is something animals don't have, unfortunately our reasoning is all too often focused on the past or the future. We'd be much more content if we thought more oftn about the eternal NOW. Thinking otherwise puts people out of phase or not synchronized with the moments on which things manifest, hence puts us out of sync with other people. The experience of the so-called important little things then easily vanish...

Our mindset of expectations, past experiences, fears for what might come and needs in our present day made other things more important than people. That's where our society has gone wrong to the point of wanting something else than what we have now. So we search for a "better place". Together with how conscious we're of ourselves it doesn't take much to understand why we want to solve the mystery of our excistance.

Perhaps we're slightly aware of where we originally come from and are trying to reach out and find that place to get our past life back. It must have been something incredible....

Those questions that you brought up are questions in evryone's heart. God put them there so people would seek him. People go against their own nature if they absolutely never even question these things.

we have a choice. failure is the result of incorrect actions, rising is the result of correct actions.
because we don't make all good or bad actions, we will either mainly fail, or achieve what we come into this world to do.
