I don't have my Hebrew Lexicon with me now but I believe it's the same as "Yeshua". I know the name "Yeshua" means Jesus. The name Jesus originated from "Joshua". Like others posted earlier, it basically means something like "God is Salvation". This is why Jesus the Christ is known as the Savior of the World.

The name of "Jesus" was a common name back in the days of Christ and still is in many countries like Mexico. So is it's original name of "Joshua". So this might explain why some are calling this Yusha Bin person "Joshua".

Now, I am obligated to inform you of something else. If you're hoping that this Yusha Bin guy is the Messiah (which is translated to Christ in Greek), you need to know that he is not. The real Messiah fortold us that there would be many false messiahs in the last days. The real One will be coming in full glory and power from the heavens so there won't be any room for doubt from anyone in the world.

Hope this helps.
