Time, faith, and talking to your pastor. He may be able to give you some passages in the Bible to lift you up and help you see the light that shines along the path.

Good luck and best wishes.

You either believe that there is one God or you do not. But perhaps your problem lies in the fundamentals of christianity or whatever religion you were brought up in. I was raised a christian and had a difficult time fitting in with the belief system and always felt a gap when people referred to God as the same as Jesus or our father. This isn't right because obviously God is highest above the world of man and would not logically be like a human or even like a father (who is capable of error).

I did research. I studied several monotheistic faiths. I read the cathecism of the catholic faith, the jewish faith, and the Qu'ran. I read all of it with an open mind and when I completed my first reading of the Qu'ran, I converted (or reverted as many say). I am happy with my choice and this is something that I believe each person must seek alone. I cannot tell you one way or another to believe the spiritual journey is yours but I certainly hope that you will find the answer for your own salvation.

PS There is no compulsion in religion and you should always be logical and use reason to investigate proof, otherwise you would be blind and unaware. Part of this is actually from the Qu'ran and sunnah of Islamic faith.

well, i guess if you really want to be a big believer you will find your way to do it. dont believe how atheists think though!! there is a God and there is a devil and we are going to die and either go to hell or heaven.this whole magnificent world wasnt just created by itself !!
anyways, i am a moslem myself and i am truely saying that it is a great religion. the media and some bad moslems might give a bad impression to you or others who dont know anything about it.but the truth is that the real islamic religion , the real moslem spirit is just the most magnificent religion you could ever find and it would make u a real believer of God .
i know some might disagree or say this is all not true but i really do invite you to go to any islamic center near you and just ask and see what this religion has to offer or what it is all about. just see for yourself . i ask for nothing more and nothing less.
i mean it is not fair nor enough that you people judge islam only through the media or through incidents that were carried out by terrorists . every cult or religion has terrorists but that doesnt make it bad in itself.
again, i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hope you and everyone else would really go to any islamic center and just ask and see for yourselves and believe me Islam is the best way and the easiest road to heaven and it aims for the good and peace of humanity.

wish that you find what you are looking for and i am sure that when you do... all your life would just become better and better. good luck !

I am a believer in God, but by being a "big" believer would make me a fanatic. I do not think one has to be a "big" anything to lead a good life. That is what Muslim fanatics are indulged in. The world does not need that crap.

i struggle with that too. in my mind, and i'm sure in most people's minds, god is real. At this point in time-maybe not tangible like we want him too be... but resident in our mind. how he exist, and why you should believe in him is totally out of my hands, because i'm definately not mr.squeaky clean. But some advice i would give you is to invest in a good bible-visit a few churches. you'll find that the messages that are being delivered are relavant (perhaps to you, or to loved ones). that's no coincedence. that's god speaking to you. it's not some cheesy dr. phil garbage either. this is the real deal. it was written over thousands (don't quote me) years ago...and it still applies directly to you in 2006?! wars in middle east, lust, envy, greed, depression, and even events like the genocide. who could portray that and be right every single time?

First of all, you must forget rational thought, logic, evolution, and everything you learned in science class.
Then you have to believe that if there IS a God, He has a perfectly good reason for sitting by and letting children get their arms and legs blown off in Iraq, people in nursing homes suffer mental and physical pain, and people suffer unbelieveable pain while dying of cancer.
See how easy it is? (unless you have a brain)

Hey. It excites me that you're expressing this desire. God wants you to know, love and have a relationship with Him.

I reccomend you check out this website: http://www.fourspirituallaws.com/laws/englishkgp/default.htm

it's awesome. It explains exactly what it means to be a christian and how to become one. He loves you, child and wants you to know Him

Grow taller ... or fatter.

The real question is - why should you want to believe in an imaginary entity. It would only give you more problems.

ATHEISM - THE ONLY LOGICAL CHOICE

Go to church..

Read the Bible...

..and don't listen to what others say against your faith.

Always stand up for what you believe in and your faith will get stronger and stronger...
