i have a friend who is paralyzed from the waist down and she has a car that she drives. i don't know the specifics of it but she drives around fine.

Maruti provides vehicles with attachment for physically challenged citizens. earlier they had Zen and at present possibly WagonR. your nearest dealer will be able to help you with details. i am not aware about any concession and thing it is slightly costly than normal vehicle ( probably due to automatic box etc.)

to get car of ur criteria u can approach to the dealer of maruti they can provide u on specially order basis .if having low budget than u can also take a second hand car and get it altr . Normal car can also be altered .it is being done at delhi and mumbai also .DC Designs is a car designer at mumbai who alter these cars.

It is no problem getting a vehicle customized for your disability. A friend of mine has one and she drives all the time. I know she said it is very expensive to have done. If you need contact info for getting it done, I will ask her for you.
