Do girls really dig jerks?

Or do they want some one who will be respectful to them and be a gentlemen?Why has the jerk approach never worked for me?It seemed to drive the girl farther away when i was rude....

Girls like self assured and aggressive men. And 95% of the men with these qualities are jerks or players.

But that's what they seem to like. Especially when they are young. If you really don't care about love and romance, and just want to have girls, then be a cocky jerk. They'll come running. And just remember, jerks don't care about being rejected, hit on 20 girls a day, bound to get a few phone numbers and at least 2 hook-ups a week. Law of averages.

Serious girls/women are rare. So be a jerk to get them hooked, then be your nice guy, regular self later in the relationship. And see if they are for real, or if they get bored being with a nice guy and want to break-up and move on to the next exciting jerk.

This question keeps coming up in one form or another, over and over again.

Well adjusted, mature, young women do not like jerks. You probably proved that to yourself when you tried the jerk-approach and sent them a-runnin'.

I think a lot of men may notice that jerks often have a girlfriend, and for some reason conclude that since one jerk (or several jerks) have a girlfriend it must mean that all women like jerks. Jerks like jerks. Sometimes a normal woman will go out with a jerk for a short time until she figures out how much of a jerk he really is, and then she dumps him. That's the story of jerks.

In general, women like someone who is naturally a nice, decent, person and whom she finds attractive in some way.

I don't go for jerks. I like men who are confident, respectful but that is somewhat serious also. Not a jerk. Maybe young girls that are still in high school or college because you care about popularity and usually the popular ones are the jerks because they let it get to their head but not older women. Been there, done that. We need someone who is caring.

well, coming from a girl who's been with a jerk...i didnt like it when he acted all self-centered and rude. it was a real turn off. in the end, i broke up with this because he was such a big jerk! I would so rather have someone who was a gentleman, who respected me and was a great guy to everyone..not just me. i think it is so much more attractive when a guy is willing to help out, to serve others, than a guy who take advantage of others just for their pleasure. so..i suggest changing the way you go for a girl. Dont see women as possible dates, but as your friends that you just want to hang out with. See them as valuable pieces of china that you want to protect...believe me when i say this: every girl would love to have a knight in shining armor in their life.

As a girl myself, I know I don't dig jerks but it pisses me off to see immature girls all over jerks. Interesting, confident girls who know who they are and are comfortable with themselves like the right kind of guys. Be yourself and you'll find a perfect match eventually without feeling uncomfortable.

What I've always heard is this: Treat queens like whores and whores like queens.

Now, that's not a pretty thing, but it has, in my experience, rung somewhat true many times. The answer has more to do with her personality type than being so general.

Also, you'd have to be rude when you first met her and she was insterested in you anyway. If you weren't, and she was interested, it obviously wasn't because she thought you to be a jerk.
