how could multiple people who have no knowledge of one anothers writings tell the same stories with the same message with out contradicting it each other.( New Testament) while at the same time fulfilling the prophecy of the old testament and if you consider the old testament to be false then you must consider all written history false because we were not there to see or prove it happened. Now faith is knowing with out seeing, we know when we get up in the morning we know there is going to be a floor to stand on, we don't have to see it we just know its there that's faith.

From Dale Carnegie's book "How to Win Friends and Influence People"
WIN PEOPLE TO YOUR WAY OF THINKING
1. The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it.
2. Show respect for the other person's opinions.
3. Never say, "You're wrong."
4. If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically.
5. Begin in a friendly way.
6. Get the other person saying "yes, yes" immediately.
7. Let the other person do a great deal of the talking.
8. Let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers.
9. Try honestly to see things from the other person's point of view.
10. Be sympathetic with the other person's ideas and desires.
11. Appeal to the nobler motives.
12. Dramatize your ideas.
13. Throw down a challenge.
You're math equation does nothing to entice me to consider your way of thinking. I give it an "F"

rather than believe stories why dont we look at principles and if they prove to be true then they must be valid rather discuss the bible because i cant tell you to refer to a book you dont believe in let us look at gravity even though we do not see it can you agree that it does exist sometimes more in one environment than another. so because the principle exist no matter how much i protest its validity if i do not respect it i put myself in danger when i come against it or test it to a degree that is unsafe. choose any biblical principle and put it to the test. and if its true then it must be valid. last but not least evidence at a crime is not to point out plainly the situation but give a clue to what occurred even though you were not present the better you analyze your evidence the better chance you have of finding out the truth, check your crime with the bible and if you look over any evidence you might come up with the wrong conclusion. and last time i checked just because a person has credientials also means they have character. check who is giving you your information and check behind what they say to test the integrity of there work and statements of supposed fact.

Hi Red Eye Agnostic. It should be no surprise to believers that there are people in congregations that believe lies and follow these false gospels. God tells us He is preparing the unbelievers for Judgment in
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12:
"And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
If you believe you are unsaved try praying the sinners prayer "Lord have mercy on me, for I am a sinner."

Actually, Pope John Paul II said that "Faith may never contradict reason." He also believed in evolution. Religious people like him (and me) claim that science enables us to better understand God and the way in which he works with the Universe.

Unfortunately for you, you got your math wrong.there is actually plenty of proof for things written in the bible!!!It's actually quite interesting you should really do some research on it.or go to a local church and simply ask how you can believe in the Bible where is the proof, and someone will be glade to talk with you!! We're not as stuck up as you may think!!!
Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Good God, no wonder you have a red eye.
I read it twice and nearly went cross-eyed.
I guess it's beddy-bye time for me.
Happy mathing.
btw, this is the second time this evening that someone suggested to me that people can communicate using only math.
okay, i re-read it again. it looks as if your premise assumes that science-fiction writers cannot have a valid relationship with God, and probably do not have souls.

Mathematically, or really logically, you're right. But beliefs and truth and faith and all that are not equal and I believe you're totally wrong, but logically that makes sense. I'll admit it.
