I don't wear one at all. This isn't because I want to pick up ladies (although I've heard the ring would bring more in if I were after that) or because I don't love my wife (I do very much).
Wearing rings around electricity at work is a good way to lose both the ring and a finger. When in the Navy, I got used to not wearing a ring on the ship. Rings around all those ladders is also a good way to lose a finger (slipping off the ladder and the ring gets caught on a rung - happened more often than you might think).
The ring is a symbol, but the lack of it does not negate what it symbolizes.

yes and no. I wear it at work, at home etc, but during certain times such as when I have to cook, or take a shower, I take it off. But afterwards I put it on again.
My husband doesn't wear it at all though. A ring is just a ring. It symbolizes eternal love, but what's really important is the love you really feel inside for your partner. We just don't make a big deal out of it :)

I wear my wedding rings all the time except in the shower. My husband takes his off at work (he's a welder) because it could hurt him or get broken, but he wears it the rest of the time. It's a personal decision, but my opinion is that it is a symbol of your love and commitment.

My wedding ring has not been off my finger since the day my husband put it on, and we exchanged vows in front of family and friends. This is what a wedding is for. A wedding ring symbolises everlasting love, and the vows you say, make the wearing of it sacred. To take off my wedding ring, would be to end my marriage. My mum always said it was bad luck to take off the ring.

Nope. I have been married for fourteen years. I don't like wearing jewelry of any kind around the house, and that includes my wedding ring. I always wear my ring when I go out, but not in the house. It's not comfortable to wear jewelry all the time. My husband is a firefighter, so he never wears his ring to work. Because he never wears it to work, he has never really gotten used to wearing it at all, and I often have to remind him to wear it when we go out. It's all personal preference!

I did for years and years and years (married 17). I don't all the time anymore; I have a skin condition on my hands, and the rings can aggravate it.
