Not being an eye for an eye kind of guy gives you a greater advantage over other people. You are better able to deeply asses situations and problem solve, which to me sounds like it makes you stronger, quicker and more cunning if you're clever... not weak. The extreme tolerance that comes from seeing the good in everything makes you nearly impossible to win against. You can't be brought down. Being a nice guy doesn't equivalate to weakness, so long as you stand up for yourself and your principles.

Being a nice guy is equivalent to being the biggest man out there.. Being a weakling is being a loser ashole where he's compinsating for something.

Not at all, It means you are tolerant and forgiving and understanding of the weaknesses of others, and choose not to take advantage of "weaker" people. Its often harder to walk away from a jerk than to stomp him. Most Nice guys are not guys you want to push to their "point" of forgeting about being nice. They are persons who like to be nice whenever possible, because with courtesy is the best way to treat people, if possible.

Sometimes it takes a very strong man to walk away from a stupid fight situation.

My husband is kind, gentle, an all around nice guy. He will avoid a fight at all costs - however, if he must, he _will_ fight. This has happened to him twice in his life. He is forty years old.

He is the least cowardly man I know.
