I'm 5'2 and weigh between 125-127 lbs. I always say I need to lose some weight but all I really want to do is tone up my body. So work on trying to tone your body instead of trying to lose some pounds.

No. You are not overweight. You're perfect.
If you lose 10 lbs, do it by a HEALTHY diet and exercise...and do it to tone and to feel better physically and mentally. If you think you need to shed some pounds, do it because it's hard work, but you'll feel better about yourself.
You don't need to lose weight, you need to boost your confidence. If 10 lbs will do that for you, do it in the best way possible...and stop when you reach that goal.

I'm 5'1,6'' (to me the ,6 is important!:)) and 119 pounds. I feel overweight and would be happy to loose 17 pounds or so. But that's just selfcriticism - which happens to be very much correct unfortunately - i dont have the same expectations for other people. Your BMI is ok, you are not overweight! I'm sure you are a beautiful girl but if you yourself don't feel that way then it doesn't really matter what other people think, does it... Do what you have to do to feel good about yourself. But in my opinion you have nothing to worry about and you are in perfect weight!

I am also 5'2 and I weigh 135. I know that I could stand to loose some weight to make me happy, but to be honest from the response I've gotten from others this is a good weight range for this height. However, everyone is proportioned and shaped differently. You do what makes you happy- just be safe about it

no you're good. But why not just work out and eat well for the heck of it? Nothing crazy. It's always healthy to move around and eat one less cookie. Good luck and please try not to stress over it.
