The one thing I thought that I could enjoy has got fermeldahyde in it? what is wrong with this country? So much for my beer drinking days.

it's just a myth. enjoy your beer. it is one of life's comforts, if used moderately.

if you're really worried about it, don't drink major labels. stick with micro-brews. they taste better anyways.

That was the common wisdom of why to drink Coors because it went through a different brewing process. Heavy drinkers can't easily break down the small quantity of formaldehyde found in most beers with their livers.

It was true up until some time in the 80's Then a new preservative was used instead.

Try organic beers. Research smaller-label brands. These guys don't cut the corners the big boys do. http://www.united-nations-of-beer.com

I thought that Miller High Life was the one that had it in it because they served it in a clear glass bottle...and that was years ago.
