I recently started working out and I noticed something that made me really uncomfortable. A lot of guys parade around the locker room totally naked with their genitals exposed! I'm not talking about guys changing clothes or taking a shower, but guys standing there holding a lengthy conversation totally nude.
It really creeps me out - are these guys "showing themselves off" or something?
A female friend of mine says that some women are the same way in the gym locker room.
Is anybody else bothered by this?

Yeah, I notice it at the YMCA. I go there to play basketball, lock my stuff up and change my sweaty clothes. There are guys that walk around butt naked without a care in the world. Come to think about it, we did it on my high school football team.

One of the last movies I watched with actual nudity in it was 'The Wrestler,' but I'm sure I've seen others since with more nudity in 'em...I just can't think of 'em because they probably all sucked. And whoever mentioned 'Caligula' is right. Of course, that one's basically just a big-budget porno...after a few minutes of attempting to watch it, I turned it off because it was literally not worth watching if you want a real movie.

Whenever I'm in a locker room situation I usually use a stall to change. I like to keep things very modest, even my dress. If I were in your situation, I would be rather appalled and probably just change as fast as possible in a stall =P Everyone as their own way of things... mine is modesty!

Don't consider nude or naked the body as a porn or sexual matter first thing in your mind.U might feel uncomfortable with another people while they in naked.But in another way,those in naked might feel free while the cloth was free of their body.For me,naked just a very natural matter as we born to this world.I'm usually walk out naked from the shower to the locker in changing room.I'm feel nothing while another might seeing me in naked.But I'm didn't stand there to have a talk with my friend or another people.

Yeah, some women do that too. I don't like it at all. But, to each their own. I think some of us are just raised to be more modest than others. I just try to avert my eyes and quickly get in and out of the locker room. Hope it gets easier on you.

I always thought that too. It's sort of the same as going outside and seeing people naked. It's just a strange feeling.

Ive seen this type of thing in a locker room at our local pool when I was younger...I guess thats why I dont go swimming any more...Iol

That would creep me out. No one at my gym does that. If they did, they would be told that they are out of line.
I asked my husband about his gym, he says no one does that either. I would change gyms, that is just creepy.

some pps do like to show their body to others. At my sence they are sick minded.
