It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

In Jesus' time there was no radio, tv phone, etc. Not everyone knew about His teachings, so they had to go to the town, and they did not go door to door, but went to the temple to preach, or the town square. When they came to a town, they were instructed to stay at one person's house (not go from one to another) This was specific.
Nowadays, people already know the Good News, so going door to door, you're bound to get into an arguement of words, which is like splitting hairs. It is also written that believers should not argue over words with one another. It isn't very loving. It's kind of spiteful and has to do with pride more than whether one person is more right than another.

I actually don't get mad when they come to the door,I do receive the booklets they have and skim thru it and sometimes compare what I'm reading to what the bible says, just to see how different "there" bible (new world translation of the Holy scriptures) to what the Bible(New King James Version/King James Version)says. And I would tell them that I already have a place of worship. But even before I was born again, I never got mad, I just didn't answer the door sometimes.

Jehovahs witnesses are preaching a different gospel than the one Jesus wants us to preach!
Most born again Christians know the Bible and are aware what JWs are preaching is not the truth!

Jesus said to preach the word of God to the willing heart, what if the person isn't willing to hear it? Also some of those people already know it and the bible has alrady said that those who are not sick do not need a doctor, Jesus came to save the lost and the wiling.

Well if somebody was going to give you a free plasma TV you would think that was great, right? But if somebody randomly knocked on your door or called you on the phone and told you they were giving you a free plasma TV you would tell them to fck off.
Besides, Mormons are allright but Jehovah's Witnesses are nut jobs. My family is really screwed up as a result of having been Jehovah's Witnesses. It took my dad like 20 years to even be able to talk with me about religion, and that was after he found this support group of other ex-JW's that helped him get over it.

I am only interested in the truth, not some false prophet's ideas. Nowhere in the bible does it mention the teachings of these modern day prophets and many of the dates of their foretold events have expired without the events taking place. That's not prophecy of God but rather some nut's dream that he turned into a false religion. Beware of false prophets people and trust only the Bible as God's true word... That's why I politely tell them that I am not interested in what they are selling...

Simply because the Jehovah's Witnesses don't come to your door to tell about the Bible. They come to catch another person to their religion.

I think it's because Jehovah's witnesses doesn't care about celebrating your birthday or giving you all kinds of gifts for christmas. I always invite them in. They don't try to force you to convert but they do believe in what the talk to you about and they don't look down on you if you have no money to donate that 1 week.
